PURPOSE:To provide a method wherein, when smoke of tobacco is present in a partition section, said smoke is quickly detected to automatically actuate a blower for air curtain incorporated in a body of partition. CONSTITUTION:A blower 2 for air curtain is provided in a body 1 of partition and the presence of smoke is judged by a smoke sensing sensor circuit 6 in the interior surrounded by the partition so that the condition of said smoke is wirelessly transmitted from an infrared transmitter 6A to an infrared receiver 5A to automatically actuate the blower 2 through a control circuit 5.
