Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the scattering of dust as well as the dropping of water drops, adhered to a heat exchanger, after finishing cleaning by a method wherein the sucking of dust or the cutting of water is effected by inducing air before or after the spraying process of liquid for cleaning the heat exchanger for an air-conditioning machine. CONSTITUTION:A flexible tube 15 is connected to the inside of a hopper 6 or the receiving member of cleaning water before or after washing. The sucking of dust, adhered to the heat exchanger 23, or the cutting of water, adhered to the same, is effected by inducing air through a vacuum pump 2 while employing said tube 15.

2. Description of the Related Art In a method or apparatus for cleaning a heat exchanger in an air conditioner such as a ceiling-embedded type air conditioner, when cleaning with cleaning water, be careful not to splash the liquid on an office desk or the like below the air conditioner. Work is not easy because the portion to be cleaned is located at a high place near the ceiling surface. Therefore, conventionally, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-129552, cleaning water from a water pump is jetted from a nozzle to a portion to be cleaned of a heat exchanger, and dirty water flowing from the portion to be cleaned is funneled. There is a water receiving member that receives the waste water and collects the received waste water through a hose into a drainage tank. In addition, for example, actual Kaihei 1-75742
As shown in the publication, a funnel-shaped water receiving member (hood) that receives sewage is supported below a heat exchanger to be cleaned by using a support cylinder or a stepladder, and is placed in the water receiving member. There is a nozzle which is provided with a cleaning liquid ejected from the nozzle toward the portion to be cleaned. Then, the filthy water after cleaning is discharged through a drainage pipe connected to the water receiving member.

However, the funnel-shaped water receiving member and the drain hose or pipe connected to the water receiving member used in the above-described conventional cleaning method or apparatus are as follows.
It was used exclusively for wastewater recovery. Therefore, if the water receiving member is removed after cleaning, there is a problem that water droplets attached to the heat exchanger fall. Moreover, draining the heat exchanger after washing is performed only by natural drying, which takes time. In addition, you can also wash off rough dust and other particles that adhere to the heat exchanger.
There is a great risk of scattering dust. The present invention solves the above problems, and before or after the spraying process of the cleaning liquid, a flexible hose is connected to the drain port inside the hopper that is the receiving member for the cleaning water, and the hose is By using air suction by vacuum pump operation, dust adhering to the heat exchanger can be sucked or drained, so that it can be washed without scattering dust,
Moreover, even if the hopper is removed after the cleaning work is completed,
An object of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger cleaning method and device for an air conditioner in which water droplets attached to the heat exchanger do not drop.

A cleaning method using the cleaning device having the above structure will be described below. The procedure of the cleaning work is as follows. (1) Remove the front panel, drain pan, fan, motor, control board, etc. of the air conditioner so that the heat exchanger 23 in the casing 22 can be seen. (2) The hopper 6 is attached to the outer peripheral edge of the casing 22 using the engaging member 24 and the hanging metal fitting 25 so as to cover it. (3) Collect dust before cleaning. For this purpose, one end of a drain hose 8 is connected to the drain port 7 of the hopper 6, and the other end of the hose 8 is connected to the vacuum pump 2 of the cleaning unit 1 via the drain recovery tank 4. Then, the vacuum pump 2 is operated to suck air from the tip of the drain hose 8, and the hopper 6
Absorb the dust and dirt inside. At this time, a part of the openable and closable opening 9 such as a waterproof fastener of the hopper 6 is opened, and the operator inserts his / her hand into the inside of the drainage port 7 of the hopper 6 so as to be flexible as shown in FIG. If the tubes 15 are connected and the flexible tube 15 is held to absorb dust and the like adhering to the heat exchanger 23, work can be performed efficiently.

(4) Cleaning with a chemical solution is performed. It has
A cleaning nozzle 10 is connected to the other end of a water supply hose 11 whose one end is connected to the water supply pump 3 of the cleaning unit 1. An operator holds the cleaning nozzle 10 in his hand and opens the hopper 6 through an opening / closing opening 9 of the hopper 6. Show inside. The water supply pump 3 is operated, the chemical solution is pressure-fed from the chemical solution tank 5a, sprayed from the cleaning nozzle 10 to the heat exchanger 23, and the chemical solution is permeated. (5) Wash off the chemical solution by washing with water. To do this, the solenoid valve 28 is switched, and the cleaning water is pumped from the cleaning liquid tank 5 by the water pump 3, and the cleaning nozzle 10 to the heat exchanger 2 is supplied.
Inject to 3. The drainage of the chemical solution and the washing water is sucked by the vacuum pump 2 from the drainage port 7 of the hopper 6, and the drainage hose 8
And is sent to the waste water recovery tank 4 for recovery. (6) Drain the water attached to the heat exchanger 23. This is performed by sucking air in the hopper 6 with the vacuum pump 2. Here, as in (3) above, the flexible tube 15 is placed inside the drainage port 7 of the hopper 6.
It is efficient to connect them. (7) Finally, the hopper 6 is removed, and the removed parts of the air conditioner are restored to complete a series of cleaning operations.

As described above, according to the cleaning method or apparatus of the present invention, a flexible hose is connected to the drain port inside the hopper before or after the spraying process of the cleaning liquid, and this hose is connected. It is possible to use suction air to suck the dust adhering to the heat exchanger, or to drain water. Therefore, there is no risk of scattering dust, and after the cleaning work is completed, the hopper is removed. Even if it is removed, the water droplets attached to the heat exchanger will not drop. Further, the flexible hose is detachable, so that it can be removed when washing with water or a chemical, and it does not get in the way.
