接続する装置において、新たな電極棒を挿通
し、該電極棒を把持するエアチヤツクを有する
スリーブと、該スリーブの外周に回転自在に設
けられ、スリーブを回転駆動するエアモータを
有する本体と、クレーンに吊り下げられるハン
ガーからスリーブ上端に設けられた吊り枠に螺
合され、新たな電極棒を吊持しつつそのねじ込
みを許容する電極棒のねじと同一ピツチのボル
トと、本体に設けられ、電極棒同士の軸芯を合
わせる芯合せガイドを有し、本体の回転反力を
電極棒ホルダーからとる回転反力受け手段とを
備えたことを特徴とする電極棒接続装置。 (2) 上記回転反力受け手段が、電極棒ホルダーの
上部開口周縁部に起立固定された先端部が先細
りで異なる高さの複数本のバーと、本体の下方
に設けられ、これらのバーが嵌合する孔を有す
る嵌合フレームとから構成されている実用新案
登録請求の範囲第1項記載の電極棒接続装置。
