DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (Industrial Field of Application) The present invention relates to a method of connecting a fishing line to a fishhook or a connecting fitting (for example, a hook snap).

(Prior Art) In general, fishing lines are often made of nylon or fluorocarbon, and it is well known that if the fishing line is connected to a fishhook and pulled strongly, it will break at the knot. The reason why the fishing line breaks at the knot is because the method of tying the fishing line to a fishhook, etc. is such that when the tied fishing line is pulled, the fishing line that is being pulled by the knot is squeezed and tightened. This is because it becomes extremely thin.

The inventor of the present invention has already conducted research to solve this problem, and has attempted to surround the knot of the fishing line with an adhesive that does not have any adverse effects such as chemical changes, has strong fracture resistance, and does not reduce its volume when fixed. We proposed a method of bonding that is much stronger than conventional ones by fixing the

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the above-mentioned conventional technique, the knot of the fishing line was simply fixed with adhesive.
Depending on the skill level of the work, such as how to apply the adhesive,
In some cases, the adhesion between the fishing line and the adhesive is insufficient, and as a result, the adhesion strength varies widely, and defective products that cannot exhibit the desired strength are often produced.

Furthermore, in the conventional method, the adhesive may not penetrate sufficiently into the knot of the fishing line, which causes the effectiveness of adhesive application to be halved.

Furthermore, in the conventional method, depending on the shape and size of the knot, the amount of adhesive used and the time required for drying the adhesive may increase, which may lead to an increase in manufacturing costs.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and is a fishing hook that can reduce the occurrence of defective products as much as possible regardless of the level of skill of the joining work, and can exert as much adhesion force as possible with a small amount of adhesive. The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for connecting fishing line and the like.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the technical means taken by the present invention are such that the fishing line 2 having thermoplasticity is attached to the shaft portion of the fishhook 1, etc., and a distance 〓e is ensured between each pitch. The wound coil portion 3 is coated with a thermosetting adhesive 4.
After covering the entire coiled portion 3 with the method, the coated portion is heated at a temperature that causes the diameter of the fishing line 2 to expand to harden the adhesive 4, thereby bonding the fishhook 1, etc. to the fishing line 2. At the point.

(Function) In the present invention, the fishing line 2 is thermoplastic and the adhesive 4 is thermosetting, and the coiled portion 3 of the fishing line 2 is coated with the adhesive 4. is heated to such a temperature that the diameter of the fishing line 2 expands, and as a result of the heating, the hardening of the adhesive 4 and the expansion of the coiled portion 3 within the matrix of the adhesive 4 proceed simultaneously.
The fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4 are brought closer together than before the heat treatment.

Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2, for example, the coiled portion 3 is formed so that a distance e is ensured between each pitch, so that when the adhesive 4 is applied to the coiled portion 3, , the adhesive 4 sufficiently permeates down to the shaft portion of the fishhook 1 and the like.

The adhesive 4 used in the method of the present invention is preferably one that cures at room temperature and does not use a solvent, such as an epoxy resin adhesive. This is because the solvent in the adhesive will damage the nylon fishing line.

In the drawing, 1 is a fishhook, 2 is a thermoplastic nylon fishing line (Harris No. 1.5), and as shown in Figure 2, the fishing line 2 is wound in a coil around the tip of the shaft of the fishhook 1. It is tied together.

Reference numeral 4 denotes a thermosetting epoxy resin adhesive (room-temperature curing type) that does not contain a solvent, and coats the entire circumference of the coiled portion 3 of the fishing line 2 wound around the shaft of the fishhook 1. It is coated like this.

After applying adhesive 4 to the coiled portion 3 of the fishing line 2, the fishhook 1 and the fishing line 2 are placed in a heat treatment furnace, and in this example, the temperature inside the furnace is raised to 120°C.
The adhesive 4-covered portion of the fishing line 2 was heated at that temperature by holding for 10 minutes, and then the fishing hook 1 was taken out of the heat treatment furnace and cooled in the air (natural cooling).

As a result, the adhesive 4 is attached to the coiled part 3 of the fishing line 2.
The fishing line 2 is fully penetrated and fixed to each other in perfect adhesion, and the diameter of the fishing line 2 is reduced to 3/3 compared to before heat treatment.
It was detected that the line had become 100 mm thicker, and its strength had increased to the strength of a No. 0.5 thick fishing line (Harris No. 2).

As described above, in this embodiment, the coiled portion 3 of the thermoplastic fishing line 2 is coated with the thermosetting adhesive 4, and the coated portion is heated at 120°C, that is, to the extent that the diameter of the fishing line 2 expands. Since the adhesive 4 itself is heated for a certain period of time at a temperature of , the adhesive 4 itself is cured by the heating, and at the same time the coiled portion 3 of the fishing line 2 expands within the matrix of the adhesive 4.

Therefore, according to this embodiment, even if the adhesion between the fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4 is insufficient before heating due to poor application of the adhesive 4, the adhesion caused by heating can be prevented. Due to the contradictory behavior of hardening of the adhesive 4 and expansion of the coiled portion 3, the fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4 are sufficiently tightly bonded after the heat treatment, so that stable solidity is achieved regardless of the application state of the adhesive 4. Adhesion strength can be obtained, and as a result, the occurrence of defective products can be reduced as much as possible.

In addition, in this embodiment, the adhesive 4 permeates through the space between the coiled portions 3 and into the shaft of the fishhook 1.
Adhesive 4 is applied over the entire axial direction of the coiled portion 3.
Since the adhesive contacts the shaft of the fishhook 1, in combination with the above-mentioned improvement in the adhesion force due to heating, a strong adhesion force can be obtained even with a small amount of the adhesive 4.

In the embodiments of the present invention, only the connection between a fishhook and a fishing line has been described in detail, but it goes without saying that the invention can be applied not only to connecting a fishing line and a connecting fitting, but also to connecting fishing lines together.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, according to the present invention, the adhesive 4 hardens and the coiled portion 3 of the fishing line 2 is heated.
This occurs in opposition to the expansion of the fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4, and the fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4 can be made closer to each other than in the case of no heating, so that stable firmness can be achieved almost regardless of the skill level of the joining work, such as how the adhesive 4 is applied. It is possible to obtain strong adhesion and to suppress the occurrence of defective products as much as possible.

Further, according to the present invention, the adhesive 4 permeates from the space e between the coiled portions 3 to the shaft portion of the fishhook 1, etc., and the adhesive 4 is applied to the shaft portion throughout the entire axial direction of the coiled portion 3. Since it is fixed evenly and reliably even if the coiled part 3 and the shaft of the fishhook 1 etc. are fixed evenly and reliably, in conjunction with the above-mentioned heating that makes the fishing line 2 and the adhesive 4 that constitute the coiled part 3 tighter, the coiled part 3 and the shaft of the fishhook 1 etc. It is possible to bond more firmly, thereby making it possible to exert as strong a bonding force as possible with a small amount of adhesive 4, and also to reduce manufacturing costs.
