PURPOSE:To make exhaust control on each coating zone easy and to make the installation small by providing an exhaust duct wherein a blowing inlet is temporarily provided at a coating position being close to a boating position in a coating booth wherein air is fed from the upper part of a spray room and is exhausted from the lower part. CONSTITUTION:An air intaking room 3 and an air exhausting room 4 are provided on the top and the bottom of a spray room 2 of a coating booth 1. Then, an object to be coated, e.g. an automotive body is carried in the spray room 2 to perform a spray coating. In this case, each exhaust duct 11 is provided at positions, corresponding to both end parts of the automotive body 9.
