上片12にて浮き上がりを防止することができて
屋根材7の取付けが簡単となり、しかも屋根材載
置片15に屋根材7を載せることで屋根材7と底
片13との間にすき間ができて毛細管によつて雨
水が内部に浸入するのを防止でき、しかも立ち上
がり片12によつて底片13を伝わつて浸入する
雨水を阻止でき、更に立ち上がり片12を上がつ
てくる雨水に対しては水返し用突部17によつて
水返しができるようにし、底片13に浸入した雨
水は切欠き16から軒樋部2に排水できるように
したものである。

壁11の上片12よりも下方部位からななめ上方

水返し用突部17が突出してあつて、底片13か
ら立上り片14を沿つて上がつてくる雨水の水返
しをおこなうようになつており、傾斜して底片1
3上の雨水は切欠き16から軒樋部2に流れる。
梁1の上面部の軒樋部2と反対側の端部よりには
上方に開口した凹条の予備樋部18が設けてあつ
て、万一屋根材載置片15と屋根材17との間を
毛細管現象で雨水が浸入した場合、この予備樋部
18に流れるようになつている。しかして梁1は
軒樋部2を含む略外側半部が屋根材7よりも外部
に位置するものであり、この外部に突出した梁1
の外側面に降つた雨水は外側面上部を流れ水切り
用突起3により水切りされて梁1の下面側に回り
込まないようになつている。なお梁1には蛇腹状
をした接続筒部19が接続され、接続筒部19の
上端部が軒樋部2に連通しており接続筒部19の
下端部が縦樋20に連通接続してある。
