Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a speaker unit with superior acoustic characteristic and wide variety of cost performance by solving problems of the deterioration of the voice articulation and the wide use of the acoustic material due to the disturbance of the sound pressure frequency characteristic in the middle-high reproduction band and the characteristic with too much peak dip in the speaker used for the video equipment such as television receiver, on-vehicle acoustic device, and various acoustic equipment. CONSTITUTION:A first reflection board 12 is placed in front of a speaker unit 15 enabling the correction of the acoustic characteristic. A second reflection board 22 is separately arranged to place a leading part 21 on this side of a tailing part 20 of the first reflection board. Further, a space 19 between the first reflection board 12 and the second reflection board 22 are kept apart from the room of the acoustic material 11. The resonance caused by the two separate reflection boards emphasizes the frequency band of 500 to 5kHz to improve the sound pressure. Thus, the speaker unit improving the sound articulation can be obtained.

The operation of the speaker device configured as described above will be described below. First, when an input signal is applied to the speaker unit 7, the speaker vibrating portion 8 vibrates, and sound waves are radiated from the acoustic tube opening 5 through the sound path 4 inside the acoustic tube 1. However, since the acoustic impedance is largely changed at the acoustic tube opening 5, a part of the sound wave is reflected and returns to the sound path 4 to form a standing wave,
In addition, the standing sound wave generated in the length of the acoustic tube 1 causes a reproduced sound pressure frequency characteristic in which the peak dip is severely disturbed.
However, the sound absorbing material 2 arranged inside the acoustic tube 1 is
By absorbing and suppressing each of these standing waves, a flat reproduced sound pressure frequency characteristic is created. That is, the sound absorbing material 2 plays an important role in the reproduction principle of this type of speaker device. Further, the reflection plate 3 is arranged so that the sound emitted from the speaker vibrating portion 8 and enhanced by the throat narrowing portion 6 is not directly absorbed by the sound absorbing material 2, and also acts on the correction in the middle range in particular. As a result, natural sound reproduction is possible with the acoustic tube opening 5 configured to be elongated and nearly rectangular.

However, in the above-mentioned conventional structure, as shown in FIG. 5, the sound absorbing material 2 provided for suppressing the standing wave generated inside the acoustic tube 1 absorbs even the sound waves of the middle and high frequency components. The reflector 3 is provided for the purpose of preventing this phenomenon.
As shown by 31 in FIG. 4, the sound pressure frequency characteristics in the mid-high range reproduction band are disturbed due to the length of the peaks, resulting in a characteristic with many peak dips, and the intelligibility of the voice decreases. . Further, a large amount of the sound absorbing material 2 has to be used in order to suppress the standing wave, and a problem remains in terms of cost.

As described above, in the case of the second embodiment, the sound wave passes through the sound path 14 inside the sound tube 10 and the sound tube opening 13 is formed.
In that case, the length of the first reflector 12 emphasizes the sound pressure in a specific frequency band, and the standing wave generated by the length of the acoustic tube 10 is suppressed by the first reflector 12. The second reflection plate 2 is formed by forming the start end portion 21 from before the end portion 20 of the first reflection plate to absorb the frequency band that cannot be emphasized by the first reflection plate 12 after being absorbed by the sound absorbing material 11 installed on the front surface.
The sound pressure in a frequency band different from that of the first reflector 12 can be emphasized by 4, 25, and the frequency band that can be further emphasized can be subdivided by further making the sound pressure asymmetric. Controlling the sound pressure can be facilitated by making the arrangement positions of the second reflectors 24 and 25 independent. Overall, the position of the peak dip in the reproduced sound pressure frequency characteristic can be adjusted more easily than in the first embodiment, and excellent acoustic characteristics can be realized as a speaker device for a television receiver.
