The conference participant who finished speaking releases the pressing of the talk button to change the ON signal to the OFF signal. The speaker selection circuit 7 performs releasing the connection between the input terminal of the transmission path 2 1 mixed distribution circuit 4 of the telephone, for example, 5 1 and the appropriate receiving the OFF signal. The conference participant who newly speaks presses the talk button of his / her own telephone, for example, 5 5 , and sends a talk signal by an ON signal. When the speaker selection circuit 7 receives this ON signal, it connects the transmission path 2 5 of the corresponding telephone 5 5 to an empty input terminal of the mixing / distributing circuit 4. This allows each conference participant to take turns making a conference call.

In the above embodiment, the case where the number of input terminals of the mixing / distributing circuit 4 is 3 has been described. However, considering oscillation and deterioration of clarity, the number of input terminals up to about 8 is a practical range. .. It should be noted that if as many as eight people speak at the same time in an actual conference, the content of the conversation will not be understood, so it is meaningless to mix the voices transmitted by more conference participants, and the mixing and distributing circuit 4 If eight input terminals are prepared, there will be no substantial problem.
