Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a duplicated image, smooth, uniform and of superior aesthetic sense by coating a duplicated image layer of a transferred material composed of a base and a duplicated image layer with a curing type transparent resin composition having surface tensile force of 30dynes/cm or less and curing the layer. CONSTITUTION:A sealed sheet with a duplicating resin layer and a duplicated image layer on the surface of a base are transferred so as to overlap the base surface with the duplicated image layer. Then the duplicating resin layer is peeled off the duplicated image layer, and the duplicated image layer of the transferred material composed of the base and the duplicated image layer are coated with a curing type transparent resin composition of surface tensile force of 30dynes/cm or less and cured to form a duplicated image. Transfer is carried out by overlapping processing the duplicated image layer of the peeled sheet with the surface of the base. As the actual examples of the base, ceramics, wood, glass, plastic and the like are used, and as the actual examples of a curing type transparent resin composition of surface tensile force of 30dynes/cm or less, acryl resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, silicone resin and the like are used.

However, this method requires labor for color matching particularly when multicolor printing is performed, and it takes time because each color is printed, and when printing a complicated pattern, this method is not suitable. There is a drawback in that this effort and the time required for it are prolonged because of the frequent screen printing.

As a method of remedying these drawbacks, a color copying machine is used to copy a pattern on a transfer paper, and then this is thermally transferred onto a transfer target, and then the transfer paper is peeled off to transfer the transfer target. A pattern is created on an object.

This method has the advantage that it does not require much labor and that a complicated pattern can be formed on an object to be transferred in a short time. On the other hand, the transferred pattern is easily scratched when the object comes into contact with it. Moreover, there is a defect that the pattern is apt to suffer from defects such as fading, peeling, and staining due to light, heat, moisture, contaminants (cigarettes), and the like.

In order to improve the drawbacks of the above method, an attempt was made to form a transparent resin film by applying a transparent resin organic solvent solution on the surface of the pattern formed on the transferred material and drying it. Since the coating property of the solution on the surface was not sufficient, a film excellent in aesthetics and performance could not be obtained.
In addition, this is solved by washing the surface of the pattern formed on the transferred material with an aqueous solution of a surfactant and then applying the above solution, but since the washing and drying steps are involved, the process becomes complicated and troublesome. It has a drawback that it is costly and inferior in productivity.

The inventors of the present invention have conducted extensive studies in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and as a result, the transferred image formed by using a copying machine has a low surface tension. That the transparent resin coating cannot be formed on the surface and that the surface tension is 30 dyn for forming the transparent resin coating.
It was found that all of the above problems can be solved by using a curable transparent resin composition of e / cm or less, and the present invention has been completed.

The release sheet is one in which the copy image layer 2 is formed on the surface of the copy resin layer 1 by copying the copy resin layer 1 and, if necessary, a copy sheet having a release layer with a copying machine. Can be used. The copying machine is not particularly limited, and a conventional single-color or multi-color (color) copying machine can be used.
An electrophotographic type in which toner particles are electrostatically fixed is preferable. In copying, the copy image layer 2 is transferred to the base material 3 and inverted in the next step, so that the original image is copied on the back side.

Substrate 3 for transfer using the release sheet
Is a material that does not deteriorate or deform due to heat, and for example, pottery (tile, slate, etc.), wood, glass, metal, plastic, and plates, sheets, and molds made of combinations thereof can be used. Further, the base material 3 may be provided with a primer layer and / or an intermediate coating layer between the base material 3 and the copy image layer 2 and / or the coating film 4. These layers can improve the adhesion between the base material 3 and the copy image layer 2, and by coloring these layers, the color behind the image can be changed to raise the image or blur the image. It is possible to obtain images with different feelings.

Further, the transfer is performed by superposing the surfaces of the copy image layer 2 of the release sheet and the substrate 3 and applying pressure. The pressurization is usually performed in a heated state. Heating is generally about 80-250 ° C, preferably about 150-1.
A range of about 20 to 50 seconds at 70 ° C is preferable. If necessary, the surface of the base material 3 transferred while the base material 3 is warm may be pressed with a cloth or the like to bring the copy image layer 2 into more uniform contact.

According to the present invention, the transparent resin composition formed in the transfer image layer obtained by using a toner type copying machine has a smooth and uniform aesthetic appearance since there is no fear of cissing. A duplicate image is obtained. Since the transparent resin composition has good wettability with respect to the copied image layer, the copied image layer can be completely covered with the transparent resin film and the durability of the copied image can be improved.
