Reference numeral 4 denotes a battery case, and 5 a terminal plate, which is made of a copper alloy and is partially enclosed within the battery case 4 and partially exposed.
7 is an adhesive, and 8 is an inner wall forming an adhesive pool. Or 6 is a shelf part forming a group of electrode plates, and is made of lead or copper alloy. 5 terminal board is 6
It was connected to the shelf of the electrode plate group by soldering, etc., and was configured as an external terminal.

した。Problems that the invention attempts to solve This conventional configuration has the following two problems. One of them is the problem shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, when the adhesive is filled up to the upper limit VHI of the inner wall 8 of the adhesive pool of the inner lid 1.
When the battery case 4 incorporating the electrode plate group 6 is inverted and fitted, the adhesive overflows to the outside as shown at 7' in FIG. 7. This is because the shelf portion 6 forming the electrode plate group pushes away the adhesive 7 and causes it to overflow. Also, the other one is Figures 8 and 9.
In the problem shown in the figure, if the adhesive 7 is filled only up to VLI, which is a fairly low position in the adhesive pool 8 of the inner lid 1, one part of the terminal plate 5 as shown in FIG. This is because some areas are not coated with adhesive. In this case, the uncoated portion came into contact with the sulfuric acid content in the lead-acid battery, causing serious problems such as corrosion and cutting.

This will be explained with reference to the figures. FIG. 1 is a plan view of the back side of an inner lid according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the inner lid. FIG. 3 is a partial sectional view after the electrode plate group is housed in the battery case 4 and the terminal plate 5 and the electrode plate group shelf 6 are connected.

1の封口を同時に達成できる。 When sealing the battery case 4 and the inner lid 1 with adhesive,
The adhesive 7 is shown in Figure 2 in the pool of the inner lid 1.
Fill so that the adhesive surface is located between VL (lowest position) and VH (highest position). FIG. 4 shows the state after filling is completed. Next, the battery case in the state shown in FIG. 3 is fitted into the adhesive filler inner lid 1 shown in FIG. 4.
Since the adhesive 7 is controlled in an appropriate amount, the terminal board 5 is completely covered with the adhesive 7, as shown in FIG.
It is possible to simultaneously isolate the terminal board 5 from the internal atmosphere of the battery and seal the battery case 4 and the inner lid 1 without causing adhesive to overflow.
