Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a water-proof characteristic and improve the design, with out necessity of a cover at the joint of external decoration members. CONSTITUTION:A water-proof member A is constituted of a laid down joint B and a fitted body C. The fitted body C is fixed at the fixing part 4 having a pot-like section formed in the middle of the laid down joint B and unified for a unit. As the result, cut parts on the water-proof joint member A are prevented. The under side of the laid down joint 1 is bent and a folded part 2 is provided to flow water down to the surface of external decoration members at the lower stage to enable to immediately flow rain water downward. Both right and left pieces 6 support firmly the backing material used for a substrate of the external decoration member. The backing material is the same level with the water-proof member A and a laid down piece 8 contacts the substrate and hence, it serves for a reinforcing member. After the external material is applied, the nearby position of the joints keeps flat and it is not deformed. And hence, the design becomes better.

However, in these structures, there is a disadvantage in that the water resistance is poor, and the surface unevenness is caused by stacking the exterior materials, resulting in deterioration of design. Further, particularly when applied to a roof material, there is a risk that the cover material is slid when the snow is removed in a snowy region and the joint portion is exposed to the outside.

In order to eliminate such drawbacks, the present invention comprises a waterproof joint material composed of two members, a sheet and a fitting, and the fitting is provided at the center of the sheet. By engaging with the formed jar-shaped cross section locking part, it is possible to prevent the waterproof joint material from making cuts, etc. It has a fender for water to flow down on the surface of the exterior material, which allows rainwater to flow down quickly, and both the left and right installation pieces firmly support the backing material used as the base material of the exterior material. This invention proposes a waterproof joint material which is supported, and further has a shape in which the laying piece abuts on the roof substrate, so that the joint has improved waterproofness, designability, workability and strength.

Next, the connection between the exterior materials D in the direction perpendicular to the flow direction (lateral direction) is made by using the waterproof joint material A, which will be described below with reference to construction examples. First, as shown in FIG. 7, the fitting portion 15 of the backing material E and the exterior material D, which are fixed to the lower stage, is hooked with the flange 2 of the waterproof joint material A, and the installation piece 6 is attached to the exterior material E. Fixed piece 1
The waterproof joint material A is arranged so as to come into contact with the roof base 6 and the laying piece 8 comes into contact with the roof base α. Here, if necessary, the waterproof joint material A may be fixed to the roof base α from above the laying piece 8 with a fixture (not shown) such as a nail. Then, as shown in FIG. 8B, which is an enlarged end view taken along the line of FIG. 8A and FIG. 8A, the support piece 5 and the installation piece 6 of the waterproof joint material A are brought into contact with each other. Laying the upper and lower backing materials E. Lastly, as shown in FIG. 9A and FIG. 9B which is an enlarged end view of the wire of FIG. 9A, the connecting pieces 19 on the left and right of the outer packaging material D on the upper stage are made of the waterproof joint material A. The locking piece 18 of the upper outer material D is fitted and locked in the engaging groove 14 of the lower outer material D in the arrow X direction so as to be fitted to the locking tongue piece 12. It is pushed all the way to form joints and complete the connection.

In the joint portion thus formed, the rainwater that tries to enter the inside has a primary waterproof structure by the fitting body C and a double waterproof structure by the locking portion 4, so that the waterproof property is greatly improved. Further, since the waterproof joint material A is fixed by the exterior material D, the workability is good and the waterproof joint material A is
The movement of oneself disappears. Further, the backing material E and the waterproof joint material A are flush with each other by abutting the backing material E on the installation piece 6, and even after the exterior material D is set, the periphery of the joint is flat and has no pecks and is aesthetic. Is improved. Since the laying piece 8 abuts on the roof base α, the waterproof joint material A is reinforced, and the waterproof joint material A is not bent or damaged from the upper portion by pressing (stepping on by a person or the like).

As described above, according to the waterproof joint material of the present invention, since it is not necessary to use the cover material, the workability is good, and the side end portion of the exterior material is fitted and locked to the waterproof joint material. Therefore, the waterproof property is improved. Since the waterproof joint material is fixed by the exterior material, there is no water leakage due to driving of nails or the like, and the waterproof joint material itself does not move. Since the exterior material has a joint structure backed up by the waterproof joint material, deformation can be prevented. Each of the mat board and the fitting body can be roll-formed and the productivity is good. Since the backing material abuts on the installation piece, the backing material and the waterproof joint material are flush with each other, and even after the outer covering is formed, the periphery of the joint is flat and has no pecks and the design is improved.
Since the laying piece abuts on the base, it serves as a reinforcement for the waterproof joint material, and is not bent or damaged by pressure from above (stepping on by a person or the like). There are effects and features.
