The problem with conventional pot seedling raising devices is that when watering during seedling raising, the smooth outer surface of the pot seedling raising device has poor water absorption, making it difficult to sufficiently water the soil inside the pot.

This invention provides an outer surface 1 of a seedling growing pot 1 in which the outer surface 1b is an uneven surface and the inner surface 1a is a relatively smooth surface.
This seedling raising method is characterized in that the seedlings are raised in a state in which bed soil and seeds are put into the inner surface 1a and placed in the seedling raising box 6 with the side b facing upward.

Therefore, when watering during seedling raising, water is easily absorbed into the pot from the uneven surface of the outer surface 1b, and water collects in the concave portions of this uneven surface, and water is uniformly applied to the entire seedling raising device, resulting in good seedling raising. It is something.

First, to explain the structure of this pot-type seedling raising device A, the upper edge of the seedling raising pot 1 is shaped like a truncated pyramid with a trapezoidal side view and a base area of about 1 to 3 cm 2 and a height of about 3 cm. are continuous with each other, and each seedling growing pot 1 has a hole 2 in the center of the bottom, and when a part of the pot 1 is taken out and illustrated, it looks as shown in FIG.

A mesh forming frame 3 as shown in FIG. 3 is used. This net forming frame 3 has a net 4 made of metal in the same shape as the pot-type seedling raising device A, and a protrusion 5 separate from the net is integrally provided at the center of the bottom surface.

This state of adhesion is shown in FIG. 4, where only the waste paper is deposited on the surface of the net-forming frame 3 without being filtered, and the liquid flows down from the screen.
Then, waste paper does not adhere to the protrusion 5 portion, and this portion forms the hole 2. In this state, after draining, the adhering waste paper and the frame 3 are separated to obtain a pot-type seedling raising device A as shown in FIG.

Note that if bed soil (top soil) is placed in the valleys of the outer surface 1b, the water retention property will be further improved.
