[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to an improvement of a plug-in temperature fuse.

<Prior Art> When protecting electrical equipment with a thermal fuse, it is known to provide the electrical equipment with a socket for insertion of the thermal fuse, and to insert the thermal fuse into the socket. When the temperature of the electrical equipment abnormally rises due to overcurrent, the temperature fuse is blown and the power supply to the electrical equipment is cut off. The equipment is then restarted by inserting a new thermal fuse into the socket.

<Problems to be Solved> Incidentally, conventionally, the contacts of the socket are provided with spring properties to ensure the stability of the electrical contact between the electrode of the temperature fuse and the socket contacts.
However, the socket described above is used throughout the original lifespan of the electrical equipment, and the temperature fuse is attached and detached many times during that time, so there is a risk that the springiness will decrease during the process. Afterwards, the stability of the electrical contact described above can no longer be ensured.

<Technical means for solving the problem> The plug-in temperature fuse according to the present invention has a pair of spring electrodes attached to an insulating substrate, and a low melting point metal body bridged between these electrodes. This structure is characterized in that an insulator that can surround the melting point metal body is provided between the two electrodes.

<実施例> 以下、図面により本考案を説明する。<Example> The present invention will be explained below with reference to the drawings.

In FIG. 1, 1 is an insulating substrate, for example a ceramic plate. 2, 2 is a layered electrode provided on an insulating substrate, and is provided with a trunk 21 and a branch 22. Reference numeral 3 denotes a low melting point metal body which is bridged between the branch parts 22, 22 of the layered electrodes 2, 2, and a resistor can also be connected in series to this low melting point metal body, if necessary. 4, 4 are spring electrodes, and layered electrodes 2,
The cadres 21, 21 of No. 2 are soldered. As the spring electrode 4, a bi-folded spring metal piece as shown in FIG. 2 can be used. Reference numeral 5 denotes an insulating covering provided between the spring electrodes, which can be applied by molding with epoxy resin or adhering an insulating cover.

<Effects of the invention> The plug-in temperature fuse according to the invention has the configuration as described above, and since the electrode that contacts the contact of the socket has a spring property, the contact of the socket does not have spring property. Even if it is not provided or the springiness of the contact is incomplete, good electrical contact between the socket and the temperature fuse can be ensured.
