When the temperature of the electrical equipment abnormally rises due to overcurrent, the temperature fuse is blown and the power supply to the electrical equipment is cut off. The equipment is then restarted by inserting a new thermal fuse into the socket.

However, the socket described above is used throughout the original lifespan of the electrical equipment, and the temperature fuse is attached and detached many times during that time, so there is a risk that the springiness will decrease during the process. Afterwards, the stability of the electrical contact described above can no longer be ensured.

Reference numeral 3 denotes a low melting point metal body which is bridged between the branch parts 22, 22 of the layered electrodes 2, 2, and a resistor can also be connected in series to this low melting point metal body, if necessary. 4, 4 are spring electrodes, and layered electrodes 2,
The cadres 21, 21 of No. 2 are soldered. As the spring electrode 4, a bi-folded spring metal piece as shown in FIG. 2 can be used. Reference numeral 5 denotes an insulating covering provided between the spring electrodes, which can be applied by molding with epoxy resin or adhering an insulating cover.

Even if it is not provided or the springiness of the contact is incomplete, good electrical contact between the socket and the temperature fuse can be ensured.
