Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a freezing cycle by a method wherein two chambers are provided in a longitudinal direction of a refrigerant drying device, one chamber is provided with a spring, a drying agent and a check valve and the other chamber is provided with a drying agent and a spring, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A structure of refrigerant drying device is constructed such that a body 1 is divided into two chambers in a longitudinal direction and a cartridge type drying agent 2 is pushed by a spring 3 in an opposite direction in each of the chambers. A check valve 4 is arranged at an opposite side of the spring 3 so as to restrict a flowing direction. Due to this fact, when the refrigerant flows from the left side toward the right side, the refrigerant can flow through the lower drying agent 2 and in turn when the refrigerant flow from the right side toward the left side, the refrigerant can pass through the upper drying agent 2. That is, the refrigerant can be flowed on the same piping system from both its normal side and its reverse side and thus the refrigerant drying device can be used without using any check valve or a branch pipe even in the case that the reversible freezing cycle is being carried out.

流れても使用可能となる。

リング3と反対側に逆止弁4を設け、流れ方向を制限し
ている。このため、冷媒が左から右へ流れる時は下側の
乾燥剤を、右から左へ流れる時は上側の乾燥剤を通過す
ることができる。すなわち、同一配管系上で正逆どちら
側からでも冷媒を流すことができる。
