タ14によって反射した紫外線を下半部中央部位に照射
し、次にその棒状体の下面中央部位を支持するコンベア
15によって搬送しながらその上方から紫外線を照射し
てコンベア15の両側にそれぞれ配したリフレクタ1
9,20によって反射した紫外線を下半部両端部位に照

プ11及びリフレクタ12から成る第1UV照射装置1
3が配され、この第1UV照射装置13の真下で且つコ
ンベア9,10よりも下側で更に両側のコンベア9,1

コンベア15よりも下側で更にコンベア15の両側位置

コンベア15に渡されて、図5に示すように、鉛筆軸1
はこのコンベア15によって下面中央部位を支持されな
がら第2UV照射装置18まで運ばれる。この第2UV
照射装置18において、図6に示すように、上方から照
射した紫外線をリフレクタ19,20によって反射する
ことにより鉛筆軸1における下半部の両端部位に照射さ
せる。これにより鉛筆軸1の周側面の全体にムラなく紫

全体を乾燥させることができるので、棒状体の周側面に
対する照射ムラがなく、品質の安定化がもたらされる。
次に、棒状体はまずその両端角縁部をそれぞれ傾斜した
コンベアに対して点接触又は線接触の状態で載せて搬送
され、下半部中央部位を第1段階のUV照射により乾燥
させられてから、その乾燥した下半部中央部位を次のコ
ンベアによって支持されながら搬送されるので、全工程
中、棒状体の周側面における未乾燥部位が一度もコンベ
ア等に接触することがなく、印刷面または塗装面のイン
キや塗料の剥れを完全に防止することができる。又、本
発明は前記従来例のように棒状体を回転させることがな
いので、勿論回転するロールによって構成するコンベア
など使用する必要がなく、当然に前記の棒状体をコンベ
アにのせるタイミングの困難性といった問題からも解放
され、スピードアップによる作業能率の向上も可能であ
る。尚、設備面に於ても上記の反射方式や回転方式に比
べてコストを低減できる利点がある。The present invention is as described above.
