BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a cutting device is provided which includes a stainless steel endless wire rope and a number of cylindrical cutting members made of a sintered alloy containing diamond powder arranged at appropriate intervals so as to pass through the wire rope.
A diamond wire saw is used to drive this cutting device to cut stones and the like. In such a diamond wire saw, metal tubes 96 are placed on the outside of the wire rope 95 at appropriate intervals as shown in FIG.
A helical spring 98 is wound around the wire rope 95 in order to maintain the position of the cutting members 97 between each cutting member 97 and between the metal cylinder 96. The one that was turned is used. However, since the cutting member 97 moves along the wire rope 95 to some extent during use, the wire rope is easily worn out and cut. However, the cutting member 9
7 to the wire rope 95 by brazing from both ends of the cutting member, the wire rope becomes hot and deteriorates in quality and weakens, making it extremely easy to cut, making it impractical.

In one embodiment of the invention shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, reference numeral 10 denotes a cutting device, which has a stainless steel wire rope 11, each of which consists of, for example, seven twisted thin stainless steel wires. A suitable number of strands 12 such as strands 12 are further twisted together to form an endless structure as will be described later. 13 is wire rope 11
It is a cylindrical cutting member with holes 15 drilled through it, and a large number of them are provided at appropriate intervals, and each hole 16 is first drilled to reach the inner surface from the circumferential surface. By pouring molten silver solder into this hole, the wire rope 11
They are soldered together. When molten silver solder at a temperature of 700 to 800°C is poured into the hole 16 for brazing in this way, the portion of the wire rope 11 close to the hole 16 will be reinforced by the cutting member 13 even if it becomes weak due to the high temperature. The strength of the cutting member 1 can be maintained by
Even if the silver solder reaches near both ends of the wire rope 11, the strength of the wire rope 11 will not decrease due to the low temperature, for example, 600°C. Reference numeral 17 indicates this brazed portion. Brazing may be performed by placing a rod-shaped silver solder in the hole 16 and heating from the outside, or by using a solder other than silver solder. The wire rope 11 is made endless by arranging connecting portions 18 at different positions of the cutting member 13 for each strand 12 and joining them at the brazing portion.

Reference numeral 20 denotes a frame, which includes two columns 21 whose lower portions are fixed to the floor, and a beam 2 that connects the upper ends of each column.
It is composed of 2. Reference numerals 23 and 25 are elevating members, in which two rollers 27 are brought into contact with one of the guide parts 26 along a pair of guide parts 26 protruding along both the front and rear sides of each support column 21 of the frame 20. It is now possible to go up and down. Reference numeral 28 denotes a female screw member 3 arranged to extend downward from the upper end of each support 21 and provided on each elevating member 23, 25.
It is a threaded rod designed to mesh with 0. A shaft 31 is rotatably supported at both ends by the upper end of the support column 21 and rotates the threaded rod 28 via a pair of bevel gears 33.
6. Therefore, by rotating the electric motor 35 in the forward and reverse directions, the elevating members 23 and 25 on both sides can be moved up and down at the same speed.
