3どうしの衝突等による現像剤の劣化が少いほ
か、背面汚れの現象がなく、しかも、広面積像の
均一な再現が可能である等の特長を備えている。

ツトロールによりパドルから供給された現像剤を
最上方にセツトされた現像ロールに供給するよう
にした現像装置である。この現像装置によれば、
マグネツトロールが現像剤を複数の現像剤ロール
のうち最上方にセツトされた現像ロールまで搬送
するので、複数の現像ロールによる背面搬送をな
くすことができるほか、この各現像ロールの背面
側の磁石を省略することができる。
