れ故に、新規骨材を加熱する場合には骨材の移動
方向と逆方向に高温ガスを送り込んで加熱する向
流加熱方式が採用されるのに対し、廃材を加熱す
る場合には廃材の移動する方向と同一方向に比較
的低温のガスを送り込んで加熱する並流加熱方式
を採用することが一般的に好ましいとされてい
る。このように新規骨材と廃材の好ましい加熱方
式が異なるため、それぞれの加熱方式を採用した
新規骨材加熱専用のドライヤと廃材加熱再生専用
のドライヤが存在することとなるが、それぞれの
ドライヤを同一工場の敷地内に併設することは経
済上の負担が大きい。したがつて、単一のドライ
ヤでもつて両材料を加熱できるようなドライヤの
開発が要求さている。そのドライヤの一例とし
て、本出願人が先に出願した実開昭61−193109号
公報記載の考案の如く、単一のドラムを正逆回転
自在に水平枢支し、ドラムのバーナ側の一端部に
廃材投入シュートを、ドラムのバーナ反対側の他
端部に新規骨材投入部を配設し、ドラム正回転時
には新規骨材を向流加熱方式で、ドラム逆回転時
には廃材を向流加熱方式で加熱することができる
ドライヤがある。

バー体のコールドホツパ側に配設された廃材投入
部から廃材を投入すると、ドラムの内周部に配設
されコールドホツパ側に適宜角度に傾斜した掻き
上げ羽根によつて廃材が掻き上げられコールドホ
ツパ側に配設された廃材排出口に向つて転動流下
する間に所定温度に加熱される。したがつて、単
一ドラムでもつて新規骨材は向流加熱方式で、廃
材は温度低下した熱風により並流加熱方式で同時
に加熱することができ、またどちらか一方の材料
のみの加熱も可能である。

いる掻き上げ羽根15によつて掻き上げられなが
らドラム2内をホツトホツパ6側に向つて転動流
下する間に所定温度まで加熱され、ホツトホツパ
6下部の新規骨材排出口16より排出される。一
方、17はドラム2のほぼ中央部付近の周壁に適
宜間隔で穿設した前記透孔9よりコールドホツパ
7側に適宜の距離を隔てて同様にドラム2の周壁
に適宜間隔で穿設した透孔であつて、該透孔17
を外周部よりドラム2と切り離されて固定された
カバー体18で包囲してある。該カバー体18の
上部にはカバー体18を貫通して前記透孔17に
先端部を臨ませた廃材投入シユート19を配設し
ている。20a,20bは各種粒径別に廃材を貯
蔵する廃材ホツパであり、該廃材ホツパ20a,
20bより切り出しフイーダ21a,21bによ
つて廃材を所定量切り出し、コンベヤ22を介し
て前記廃材投入シユート19に搬送し、回転する
ドラム2に穿設した透孔17より廃材をドラム2
内に投入する。投入された廃材はドラム2の内周
壁に廃材をコールドホツパ7方向に進行させるよ
うに傾斜させている掻き上げ羽根23によつて掻
き上げながらドラム2内をコールドホツパ6側に
向つて転動流下させる間に所定温度まで加熱さ
れ、コールドホツパ7下部の廃材排出口24より
排出される。
