2. Description of the Related Art Generally, in an air conditioner driven by an inverter, a power module having a large heat generation amount is housed together with an electronic board in an electric component box installed in a heat source unit of the air conditioner. And the heat source machine of the said air conditioning apparatus is often installed outdoors or in the machine room of the substantially sealed state. Therefore, it is necessary to cool the inside of the electrical component box in order to prevent failure and malfunction of the electronic device. Therefore, conventionally, the cooling of the electric component box of the air conditioner was performed only by convection heat transfer of air by operating the cooling fan.
As the amount of heat generated in the electrical component box increases, it has become necessary to lower the air temperature itself.

However, in the electrical component box of the air conditioner having the above-mentioned conventional structure, the electrical component box is an open type, and the influence of the ambient temperature rise is great.
In addition, there is a problem that malfunction and deterioration of the electronic device occur due to mixing of dust, dust, and small animals. Further, since the fan 59 is operated with an air volume necessary for the refrigeration cycle, the heat exchange amount with the air in the suction pipe 57 cannot always be optimized with respect to the heat generation amount. Therefore, there is a problem that the air is overcooled or undercooled, the indoor cooling capacity is lowered due to the release of the refrigerating capacity at the time of supercooling, and the failure and malfunction are caused by the temperature rise of the equipment at the time of insufficient cooling.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS FIG. 1 is an overall explanatory view of an installed state of an electric component box of an air conditioner according to the present invention. Figure 1
In the figure, reference numeral 1 is an electronic board installed in the vertical direction and constitutes the control unit A. Reference numeral 2 is a heat-generating component, and 3 is a radiator in which a plurality of fins are arranged so as to form an air passage in the vertical direction. The radiator forms a heat-generating portion B and is arranged in parallel with the control portion A. Reference numeral 4 is a cooling fan installed on the ventilation passage above the heat generating portion B, and 5 is a control box that opens only in the lower portion and encloses the control portion A, the heat generating portion B, and the cooling fan 4. Configure C. A heat exchanger 6 is a heat exchanger in which a low-temperature refrigerant of an air conditioner arranged in a support 7 described later flows, and constitutes a cooling unit D. Reference numeral 7 is a support base of the cooling unit C having an opening only in the upper portion, and has a coupling portion 8 for mounting the control unit C in the upper opening. With this configuration, by placing the control unit C on the support base 7, the inside of the electrical component box is a closed space.

Further, in order to form a ventilation path with the control unit C placed, a cooling fan 4 is provided from the upper portion of the radiator 3.
The first partition plate 9 in the ventilation path up to, the second partition plate 10 between the lower part of the radiator 3 and the upper part of the heat exchanger 6, and the third partition plate between the heat exchanger 6 and the support 7. Place 11 By these partition plates 9, 10 and 11, the air circulating in the electric component box by the operation of the cooling fan 4 always passes through the cooling fan 4, the fin portion of the radiator 3 and the heat exchanger 6.
The heat exchanger 6 is drawn out in parallel from an evaporator 15 of an air conditioner including a compressor 12, a condenser 13, a pressure reducing device 14, and an evaporator 15.

Next, the operation of the above embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. The cooling fan 4 is rotated when the compressor 12 of the air conditioner is started. As the ventilation path, as shown by the arrow in the figure, the fins of the radiator 3 of the heat generating portion B to the cooling fan 4, the heat exchanger 6 of the cooling unit D, and the control portion A are provided.
Also, a path that circulates with the heat-generating component 2 and the surface of the radiator 3 of the heat-generating portion B and the cooling fan 4 is formed. Since the electrical equipment box is sealed, there is no circulation with the air outside the box. As a result, the air cooled in the cooling unit D is first fed to the control unit A.
Is cooled, the temperature is raised slightly, and then a large amount of heat is exchanged in the fin portion of the radiator 3 of the heat generating portion B to reach a high temperature. Then, the hot air enters the cooling unit D and is cooled immediately without coming into contact with the electronic parts and the like that are vulnerable to high temperatures.

As described above, according to the present invention,
The control box with the control unit inside is placed on a support to create a closed structure, so the cooling unit that requires pipe connection can be left fixed to the air conditioner, and maintenance of the electrical component box is possible. Sometimes there is no need to operate the piping. In addition, the inside of the electrical component box can be efficiently cooled without releasing cold air to the outside. Furthermore, there is no risk of dust, dust, or small animals getting inside the electrical component box, causing malfunction of the electronic device or deterioration of the components.
