<Industrial Application Field> The present invention relates to a sheet used for sail windows of yachts and (registered trademark). <Prior art> Conventionally, sails used for sailing and windsurfing generally use fabrics such as polyester fibers as the base fabric, making the sail itself opaque, and a window made of transparent film is provided at the bottom of the sail. It is designed to allow you to see front, back, left and right. The films used for these windows are often transparent soft vinyl chloride films due to their versatility and economic efficiency. However, since soft polyvinyl chloride film has a high elongation with respect to load, it easily stretches due to wind pressure.
It has a bad reputation among surfers and windsurfers for having a bad sail tension. Another disadvantage is that the surface of the polyvinyl chloride film is easily stained due to migration of the plasticizer in the polyvinyl chloride film to the surface. Furthermore, if the thickness of the soft polyvinyl chloride film used is increased in order to alleviate the above-mentioned poor sail tension, a disadvantage arises in that the window sheet becomes heavier. <Problems to be solved by the invention> The present invention provides a sail window sheet that has good tension, excellent transparency, weather resistance, and stain resistance, and is lightweight. <Means for Solving the Problems> The present invention provides a sheet for sale windows, in which two transparent polyester films, preferably two films of the same thickness, are laminated via an adhesive layer. The polyester film used in this invention is a transparent film manufactured by the T-die method or other methods, and may be stretched or unstretched, but especially stretched film with a thickness of 25 to 100 μm. Preferably. When using polyester films here, two films, especially polyester films with approximately the same thickness (e.g.
A sheet made by laminating two sheets (50μ) through an adhesive layer has the same transparency, less elongation under load, and higher rupture strength than a polyester film with the same total thickness as the former (e.g. 100μ). There is a technical fact that is much larger. (Refer to Examples and Reference Examples in Table 1) Therefore, when using a polyester film, the present inventor decided to use a polyester film with approximately the same thickness of the front and back films instead of using a polyester film body (for example, 100μ). Film (e.g. 50μ)
We decided to use two sheets laminated with adhesive. It should be noted that bonding together pieces of approximately the same thickness is advantageous since there is no warpage during processing. The adhesive used in the present invention is one that has good adhesion to the polyester film and does not impair transparency, with urethane adhesives being particularly preferred. Further, as the method of applying the adhesive used in the present invention, known methods such as roller coating and knife coating can be applied. Example: A urethane adhesive was applied to one side of a transparent biaxially stretched polyester film with a thickness of 50μ using a reverse roll coater, and after semi-drying, the other side with a thickness of 50μ Transparent biaxially stretched polyester films are laminated and heated to 120 degrees using a press roll.
It was fixed by heating at ~130° C. and a pressure of 3.5 to 4.0 Kg/cm 2 . The resulting laminate was transparent and had a total thickness of 100 microns including the adhesive layer. As a comparative example, a 450μ soft polyvinyl chloride film, which is commonly used as a sail window sheet, was used. Furthermore, as a reference example, a single film of 100 μm biaxially stretched polyester was also fried. The quality of the three is shown in the table below.

[Table] <Operations and Effects> Compared to sheets made of polyvinyl chloride, the present invention has less elongation and good tension, excellent transparency, weather resistance, and stain resistance, and is suitable as a lightweight sail window sheet. It is.
