The present invention is a cooling container that utilizes the above cooling method and further improves the cooling method. That is, the present invention prevents the user from being burned by the walls of the adsorption chamber, which become hot due to the heat of hydration of the soft-burned quicklime, while ensuring safety by efficiently dissipating the heat of hydration from the soft-burnt quicklime. The purpose is to provide an excellent cooling container. Furthermore, the cooling container of the present invention efficiently dissipates the heat of hydration of the soft-burned quicklime to the outside of the cooling container, thereby increasing the water absorption rate by keeping the temperature of the soft-burnt quicklime low. The purpose is to provide a cooling container that improves the utilization rate of quicklime.

Furthermore, in the cooling container of the present invention, a heat transfer means 9 can be provided in the adsorption chamber 2. The heat transfer means is not particularly limited as long as it can quickly transfer the heat of hydration of the soft calcined lime filled in the adsorption chamber 2 from inside the adsorption chamber to the vicinity of the outer wall of the adsorption chamber 2. Examples of such heat transfer means include metal plates (iron plates, copper plates, etc.), films (aluminum foil, etc.), meshes (iron mesh, copper mesh, etc.), and the like.
There are no particular restrictions on the shape, number, or arrangement of the heat transfer means 9 in the adsorption chamber. In particular, in order to efficiently dissipate the heat of hydration of soft calcined quicklime to the outside of the adsorption chamber, the heat transfer means 9
is preferably provided in contact with the outer wall (side wall, upper wall) of the adsorption chamber 2.

The soft burnt lime used in the present invention is, for example, limestone heated to about 800 to 1100°C under atmospheric pressure, preferably about 850 to 1050°C.
It can be obtained by firing at ℃. The quicklime thus obtained is highly reactive. The soft calcined quicklime can be used as a powder, or it can be granulated or molded and filled into the adsorption chamber. Furthermore, the soft calcined quicklime is wrapped in cloth, wire mesh, etc., which is permeable to water vapor, and placed in the adsorption chamber 2.
It can also be filled with.

Further, examples of the refrigerant impregnated in the refrigerant-impregnated sheet 7 used in the present invention include water,
Examples include brine (salt water, calcium chloride water, etc.). As the impregnated sheet, a water-retaining material such as a water-absorbing polymer can be used. Instead of the refrigerant-impregnated sheet, the refrigerant may be used as a liquid by filling it into the evaporation chamber.

The cooling container of the present invention has a valve 6 that has been closed in advance.
is opened to allow evaporation to flow from the evaporation chamber 3 to the adsorption chamber 2, and the vapor evaporated from the refrigerant-impregnated sheet 7 is adsorbed to the soft burnt lime in the adsorption chamber 2. When steam evaporates from the coolant-impregnated sheet 7, the latent heat of vaporization is absorbed from the object 8 in the object storage chamber 4 to cool the object 8.

The cooling container of the present invention can effectively prevent burns to the user due to touching the side wall or upper wall of the adsorption chamber heated by the heat of hydration of the soft calcined lime in the adsorption chamber. Furthermore, the cooling container of the present invention can more efficiently radiate heat transmitted to the side wall or upper wall of the adsorption chamber to the outside of the adsorption chamber.
As a result, the temperature of the soft calcined lime in the adsorption chamber can be kept relatively low, so that the water absorption rate per unit weight of the soft calcined lime can be increased. Thereby, the object to be cooled in the object storage chamber 4 can be cooled to a desired temperature with a relatively small amount of soft burnt lime.

Moreover, the cover 12 for preventing burns of the present invention can be provided in a detachable manner, and when using the cooling container of the present invention, after removing the cover 12 for preventing burns, the adsorption chamber portion can be immersed in water, for example. Heat transmitted to the side wall or upper wall of the adsorption chamber is removed more efficiently,
Cooling can be done more quickly.
