保持して嫌気性微生物が高濃度化された生物床を
形成させて上向流廃水を接触処理する上向流嫌気
性処理法の装置において、処理槽内上部における
汚泥、液体、ガスの3相分離のための分離部とし
て傾斜板部を設けてその下端に開設する上位開口
の面積を処理槽断面積の1/3〜1/10とし、傾斜板
部の下方にこれと間隔を隔てて平行の小形の副傾
斜板部を設けてその下端を下方に折曲げその下方
のガスデフレクタ部との間の開口を汚泥排出に必
要な最小面積に設定したことを特徴とする上向流
嫌気性処理槽のガス及び懸濁物分離装置。 (2) 処理槽が筒状の場合に、前記副傾斜板部を
