Abstract

PURPOSE:To vibrate only a listener in an excellent way corresponding to a reproduction sound by vibrating a collarbone in response to the reproduction sound with each speaker unit and listening the reproduction sound via a duct. CONSTITUTION:A stereo sound signal is fed to left right speaker units 5L, 5R from a prescribed sound signal source and reproduced and the stereo sound led from the speaker units 5L, 5R via ducts 7R, 7L is listened by a listener (m). In this case, the sound signal is reproduced by the speaker units 5L, 5R to vibrate an object (collarbone) in contact with an urethane sheet 9 fitted to a sounding part and the collarbone of the listener (m) is vibrated in response to the reproduced sound. In this case, since the collarbone is projected outward from a human body in general independently of the figure of the human body, then the urethane sheet 9 is in direct contact with the collarbone via the skin of the listener (m) and the listener (m) is vibrated through the collarbone efficiently.

The present invention provides a playback device capable of vibrating a listener, in which speaker units are placed near the left and right collarbones, and ducts are provided to guide the playback sound of the respective speaker units to the vicinity of the left and right ears. Each speaker unit causes the clavicle to vibrate in accordance with the reproduced sound, and the reproduced sound can be heard through a duct so that the listener can vibrate effectively.

However, headphones have the inconvenience of localizing the sound in your head, and they are not able to reproduce powerful bass sounds that shake your body. To solve this problem, for example, a large-diameter speaker unit is attached to the chair on which the listener is sitting, and this speaker unit vibrates the chair, causing the listener to vibrate in time with the music.
These devices are large and expensive, and cannot be easily enjoyed.

By doing this, the listener's collarbone can be directly vibrated by the left and right speaker units, effectively shaking the listener's body, and the sound played from the left and right speaker units can be transmitted to the left and right ears. You can listen to the reproduced audio without having to attach headphones or the like.

In this case, each speaker unit (5L) (5R) is arranged so that one sound emitting part (front side) faces toward the listener m who is wearing this playback device, as shown in the cross section in Fig. 3. A urethane sheet (9) is attached to this sound emitting part, and the low-frequency sound in the audio output from the sound emitting part of the speaker unit (5L) (5R) makes contact with the urethane sheet (9). The object vibrates, causing listener m's collarbone to vibrate.

By configuring the playback device of this example in this way, the left and right speaker unit 7) (5L) (5R
) by supplying and playing a stereo audio signal to the speaker unit (5L) (5R) to the duct (7L).
Listener m can listen to the stereo sound guided through (7R). In this case, by playing the audio signal with this speaker unit (5L) (5R),
An object (clavicle) that comes into contact with the urethane sheet (9) attached to one of the sound emitting parts vibrates, and the clavicle of listener m is caused to vibrate in response to the reproduced sound. At this time, since the clavicle generally protrudes to the outside of the human body regardless of the body shape, the urethane sheet (9) comes into direct contact with the clavicle through the skin of the listener m, and the clavicle can be efficiently removed from the clavicle. It can be made to vibrate. Since the reproduced sound output from the back of the vibration speaker unit (5L) (5R) is guided to the listener m's ear e, a separate speaker unit for vibration is used for audio reproduction. No need for it, simplifying configuration.

Therefore, for example, when this playback device is used to play back sound effects when playing a video game, the sound effects played as the video game is played are played while the player's body is being shaken directly. In this case, only the person playing the video game (listener m) is shaken, and the playback sound also reaches only the person playing the video game, preventing the surrounding people from being exposed. do not have.

Note that when performing playback using this playback device, by boosting the low frequency range of the audio signal supplied from the audio signal source in advance, it is possible to effectively vibrate the listener. For example, as shown in Figure 4, by raising the low range as the amplifier characteristic a adjusted by tone control, the overall frequency characteristic S of the playback device of this example can be calculated as that of the speaker unit alone. Compared to the frequency characteristic S2, the low frequency band is emphasized more than other frequency bands, and vibrations due to the reproduced sound are effectively performed.

By doing this, the speaker unit (23) close to the clavicle only reproduces low-frequency sounds, making it possible to efficiently vibrate the clavicle, and the reproduced sound that reaches the listener's ears is low-frequency. Since the high frequency range is reproduced from a separate speaker unit, it has a so-called 2-way configuration, resulting in good frequency characteristics.
