A conventional electrophotographic apparatus forms an electrostatic latent image on a charged current photosensitive drum by irradiating it with light, and visualizes this image with toner using a developing device. The toner image on the photosensitive drum is transferred to recording paper. This recording paper is conveyed to, for example, a heat fixing device and fixed thereon, and then discharged outside the machine. At this time, if the transfer area where the transfer action is performed is below the photosensitive drum, a toner image is formed on the upper surface of the recording paper, and therefore the recording paper moves on, for example, a conveyance roller.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The conveyor belt is wound between a pair of support rollers, and as the driving side support roller is rotationally driven, the conveyor belt is driven to run between it and the driven side support roller. Ru. Each of the support rollers has a structure in which both end portions are rotatably supported by a bearing device fixed to the frame of the body of the electrophotographic apparatus. For this reason, when the conveyor belt is damaged and the conveyor belt is to be replaced, it is necessary to remove each of the support rollers from the frame, which is done by a specialized worker. Similarly, it is difficult to replace the photoreceptor and the developing device, and these tasks are also carried out by specialized workers. For this reason, it has become inconvenient for general users.

142a and flange portions 141b and 142b. Therefore, it is possible to prevent toner from getting mixed into the bearings 69, 70 and causing rotational failure. The bearing tube 141,
142 may be integrally formed with the frame 68 from a synthetic resin material with a relatively low coefficient of friction. Further, the bottom surfaces 88a and 89a of the fitting grooves 88 and 89 of the frame body 68 are formed flat, and mounting holes 100 and 101 are formed respectively.

Further, the end of the bearing piece 86 on the side wall 76 side is cut off on the side opposite to the guide pin 105 to form a stepped surface 108. This stepped surface 108 corresponds to the frame 109 of the corona discharger 5 described above.
The corona discharger 5 comes into contact with the retaining protrusion 110 from the upstream side of the insertion direction B2, and when the conveyance device 27 is attached to the housing 14, the corona discharger 5 is pulled out in the opposite direction to the insertion direction B2. Preventing the situation from occurring.

The transfer conveyance device 13 allows the recording paper to pass between it and the guide surface 9 of the developing device W14, performs a transfer action on the recording paper between it and the photosensitive drum 2, and further transfers the recording paper after the transfer in the conveyance device 27. The receiver is the part that functions to transport paper, etc., and is the part where paper jams and various malfunctions are most likely to occur. By making such a transfer conveyance device 13 detachable from the frame 23 as described above, maintenance of the electrophotographic apparatus 1 is extremely easy and usability is improved.

The photosensitive drum 2 is fixed to the frame 23, and the housing 14 is positioned relative to the photosensitive drum 2 by the abutting members 58, 59 and 38,39. That is, the distance between the corona discharger 5 attached to the housing 14 and the photosensitive drum 2 is determined by the height Ll of the contact members 38° 39 and the height L2 of the contact members 58, 59, and the distance between the photosensitive drum 2 and the corona discharger 5 mounted on the housing 14 is determined. The belt 12 and the photosensitive drum 2 are positioned relative to each other. Thereby, even if the transfer conveyance device 13 is removably attached to the frame 23, a highly accurate electrophotographic operation can be realized.

Further, in this embodiment, the corona discharger 5 is configured to be detachable from the housing 14, but in order to prevent it from undesirably falling off during maintenance etc., the bearing piece 86 is attached as described above.
.. Either of the stepped surfaces 108, 108a of the corona discharger 87 is brought into contact with the retaining protrusion 110 of the corona discharger 5. As long as the conveyance device 27 is attached to the housing 14, it is possible to prevent the corona discharger 5 from undesirably falling off.

As explained with reference to FIG. 11, the conveyor belt 12 in the conveyor device 27 can be easily replaced. As a result, even if there is a need to replace the conveyor belt 12, such as when the electrostatic attraction effect of the conveyor belt 12 on the recording paper deteriorates, an ordinary user without specialized training can easily replace it. The usability of the electrophotographic apparatus 1 is also greatly improved in that it can be used for various purposes.

The shaft 54 of the photosensitive drum 2 is supported by support pieces 63 and 64 of the light source device 10 at both ends. Therefore, a distance corresponding to the height Hl described above can be set between am of the photosensitive drum 2 and the light source device 10. That is, even if the flash drum 2 is detachable from the electrophotographic apparatus 1, the distance between the axis of the photosensitive drum 2 and the light source device 10 when mounted can be set to a predetermined distance. That is, the light from the light source device 10 can always form a focused optical image on the photosensitive drum 2.
