Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the posture and the direction of each article to be changed even if its height is bigger than the diameter thereof by feeding those articles thrown in a transport passage into a transfer passage one by one, aligning the articles in one direction on the transfer passage, and standing the articles up, in the case of the device, in the title of an equipment for sending caps to the mouth of a bottle. CONSTITUTION:In an article alignment device A, parts fed from a supply unit 3 are transferred to a removing means 4, an alignment means 5 and a discharge means 6 in this order 6. In this case, the alignment means 5 places each article 1 in each receiving space 24 sideways by means of air jet and aligns the article 1 in one direction. That is to say, the article 1 fed into the receiving space 24 by means of a circumferential guide 25 is stood along an outer guide 33 by means of air jet from air jet nozzles 32 and 31 as shown by virtual line. Further, the article 1 is pushed to the side of the circumferential guide 25 by air from the nozzle 32 as it is and aligned in stand up posture.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Industrial Application Field) The present invention provides an article for aligning randomly supplied articles in one direction and supplying the articles in the correct orientation to a processing device for the next process. It relates to an alignment method and an apparatus thereof, and more specifically, in a lid that is attached to an article, for example, a container filled with liquid, the lid is transferred so that the female threaded side of the lid is always correctly positioned at the mouth of the container. The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for aligning the posture of a lid in one direction during transportation in a road.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, when supplying an article that has two sides, such as a container lid, it is necessary to accurately match the concave portion of the lid, that is, the internal thread, to the mouth of the container. It is necessary to align the lids in one direction in advance, and several alignment devices have been developed for this purpose.

For example, in the case of the type shown in FIG.
1 is supplied with its front and back sides randomly, the cap 51 placed as shown by the solid line in the same figure, that is, the cap 51 with the concave portion facing upward, is connected to the roller 55 provided on the outer periphery of the rotating disk 50. The rotating disk 50 contacts the flat portions thereof, stably supports them, and transports them to the discharge position.

However, the cap 51 placed as shown by the imaginary line in the same figure has one side of the cap 51 at its peripheral edge on the rotating disk 50 and is supported by this.
The other side is not stably supported because its concave part covers the roller 55, and falls in the direction of the arrow from the gap between the roller 55 and the guide 54, and while moving on the transfer path 52, it forms a flat surface with a front and back side. The caps 51 are sorted.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The former device described above can easily and continuously sort out the front and back sides of so-called flat objects, where the diameter of the cap is larger than the height of the cap. If the cap height is larger than the diameter of the cap, both guides will interfere with its transfer and the sorting process will not be possible. Therefore, the guides must be replaced to match the shape of the cap.

Furthermore, although the latter device is capable of sorting tall caps, caps whose heads are shaped like an arc, as shown in Figure 5, cannot be stably held on the slope of the rotating plate. So this stuff is not available at all.
