に手間がかかり、工数を要する。"Prior Art" Piezoelectric resonators, especially crystal resonators, are widely used as signal generation sources and clock sources. Therefore, there is a demand for smaller oscillators. However, resistance welding is often used for conventional crystal units, but it requires a flange for welding and has the disadvantage of being thick in external dimensions.Recently, seam welding is used, The container becomes a flat package and the top surface of the container is sealed. Fig. 4 shows a seam-welded type container with a flat package, but the container must be assembled using glass frit, which adds time and effort to manufacturing the container. It takes a lot of time and man-hours.

。"Embodiment" FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing an embodiment of the present invention. A metal can 3 is placed over a base 1 on which a terminal 2 is implanted. The top surface of the can is held down with a holding jig during welding. The seam welding electrode is pressed onto the can on the side of the base. In this example, the container used in the present invention uses a so-called hermetic terminal in which a terminal is implanted. Both the base and ring are plated.

Similar to FIG. 1, a roller 4.5, which is a seam welding electrode, is pressed from above the can 3 on the base 161 and welded while rotating. go. In this example, the base has a thin comb, the side surfaces extend upward, and a depression is formed inside, in which the piezoelectric diaphragm is placed. In this way, the thickness of the container can be reduced and downsizing can be achieved.

I was able to eliminate the flange. Additionally, flat package types require the use of glass frit,
In the present invention, there is no need to use glass frit, and the number of steps required for the container is reduced. In this way, we were able to realize seam welding with the feel of a resistance welding type.
