(Conventional technology) In the past, hard printed circuit boards (commonly known as
PCB) or flexible printed circuit board (commonly known as
When configuring an appropriate electric circuit in FPC) etc.,
For power supply or extraction of electrical signals, conductive wires are directly soldered or screwed, and terminals are crimped to an electrical circuit board.
I was doing soldering, etc. However, with this mounting method, the number of man-hours required for soldering to the electric circuit board increases, and due to the difference between the coefficient of thermal expansion of the printed circuit board and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the terminals, it becomes difficult to solder the terminals. This has disadvantages such as the possibility of cracks or the like occurring at certain points, resulting in poor contact of the connection terminals.

(Technical Issues) The present invention was developed in view of the shortcomings of the prior art, and it is difficult to attach connection terminals to printed circuit boards such as hard printed circuit boards (commonly known as PCBs) or flexible printed circuit boards (commonly known as FPCs). The technical challenge is to make it possible to maintain electrical contact semi-permanently with just a single terminal and to achieve continuity without the need for extra installation procedures such as soldering or screwing. It is something.

(Example) Reference numeral 1 denotes a connection terminal main body formed by suitably bending a metal plate, in which a terminal portion 2, a pair of left and right contacts 3, and a pair of left and right holding portions 4 are integrally formed. There is. As shown in FIG. 2, the contact 3 is curved outward in a substantially arc shape when viewed from the side, and the tip bent portion 3 of the contact 3 is formed with the terminal portion 2 as a base.
It is given elasticity against bending stress in the direction of arrow A or B of A. 4A is a leg portion of the holding portion 4, and a locking claw portion 4B is integrally formed at the tip thereof. Further, the outward bending direction of the contactor 3 and the outward elastic deformation direction of the holding portion 4 are formed to be orthogonal to each other. Further, the distance between the tip bent portion 3A and the locking claw portion 4B of the holding portion 4 is set to be slightly shorter than the thickness distance of a printed circuit board on which a copper foil is disposed, which will be described later. 5
is a printed circuit board, and a copper foil 6 constituting a printed circuit is appropriately disposed on the front side and the back side of the board, and a holder for the connecting terminal body 1 is provided at a position on the surface of the copper foil 6 where appropriate contact continuity is to be established. A through hole 7 is bored through which the cylindrical member 4 is inserted in the direction of arrow C.

Then, the holding part 4 is inserted into the through hole 7 in the direction of arrow C, and the printed circuit board 5 is held between the locking claw part 4B and the bent end part 3A of the contact 3. When the contactor 3 is brought into the bent state, the contactor 3 is further bent in the direction of arrow A.

Therefore, an elastic restoring force is generated toward the printed circuit board 5 side (in the direction of arrow B) against the bending stress of the bent end portion 3A of the contactor 3 in the direction of arrow A, and the holding portion The clamping force of the printed circuit board 5 between the locking claw portion 4B of the contactor 4 and the bent end portion 3A of the contactor 3 is improved.

Further, in this embodiment, the structure of this type of connecting terminal main body 1 is such that the overall thickness of the connecting terminal main body 1 is approximately half of the thickness t of one terminal, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 a. t/2 material in advance, and after folding and overlapping them with the folded portion 1A as a boundary, the four contacts 3 are formed facing each other so as to curve outward, and a holding portion is formed. 4 are attached to the through holes 7 of the printed circuit board 5 having a width t, so that two locking claws 4B and four contacts 3 are obtained. It is designed to be self-supporting by providing mechanical continuity through point support. Incidentally, two connection terminal bodies 1 of the same shape may be formed separately in advance, and then these may be stacked or bonded together and mounted on a printed circuit board. (See FIG. 4b) Next, the assembly order will be explained.

Incidentally, the holding portion 4 and the contact 3 may be constructed by bending and overlapping one metal plate with the folded portion 1A as a boundary, and then forming appropriate notches therein. At this time, the entire thickness of the holding portion 4 of the connection terminal body 1 is approximately t, and the printed circuit board 5

Next, the holding portion 4 of the overlapping connection terminal main body 1 is inserted into the through hole 7 of the printed circuit board 5. At that time, the locking claw portion 4B of the holding portion 4
are bent inward from each other with the terminal portion 2 as a base, and by further pushing in the direction of arrow C, the locking claw portion 4B protrudes to the back side of the printed circuit board 5, and the locking claw portion 4B has its elasticity. It expands in the direction of arrow D due to the restoring force and is engaged with the corner of the back side of the through hole 7 of the printed circuit board 5. At the same time, the tip bent portion 3A of the contactor 3 is further bent in the direction of arrow A from the initial arcuate bending state while contacting the partial surface of the surface copper foil 6 of the printed circuit board 5. Therefore, this elastic restoring force acts on the printed circuit board 5 side (in the direction of arrow B). Then,
The printed circuit board 5 is clamped and fixed by the contacts 3 (supported at four points) and the holding part 4 (supported at two points), and the connection terminal main body 1 is independently held by the printed circuit board 5, and the connection terminal main body 1 is held independently by the printed circuit board 5. 1 and the circuit portion of the printed circuit board 5 become electrically conductive. After that, the mating connection terminal may be connected to the terminal portion 2. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the contact 3 is supported at four points, so even if a falling stress is applied to the connecting terminal main body 1 in the front, rear, left, and right directions, the contact 3
Because the connecting terminal main body 1 can always return to its original position due to the elastic restoring force of There is no risk of poor contact with the copper foil 6 of No. 3, and semi-permanent electrical contact can be maintained.

(Effects) In particular, in the present invention, the connecting terminal body 1, which is constructed by folding and stacking two or two layers, is bent in the outward bending direction of the contactor 3 and the outward elastic deformation direction of the holding part 4. and are perpendicular to each other, and the contact 3 is pressed against the printed circuit board 5 with four-point support.
Since the connecting terminal main body 1 is attached by the holding part 4, the connecting terminal main body 1 can be mounted three-dimensionally and firmly in the x-axis and y-axis directions, and there is no possibility of electrical contact failure due to falling, shifting, or movement. without fear of occurring,
Furthermore, it is easy to install without requiring soldering, screws, or screws as in the conventional method.
