Abstract

PURPOSE:To heat solid pine resin internally to thereby dissolve it rapidly, decrease the time for its dissolution and prevent carbonization of the pine resin thus dissolved by irradiating the solid pine resin with a microwave. CONSTITUTION:Solid pine resin 2 is charged in a vessel 11, which is then closed tightly by a lid 11a. The pine resin 2 is heated by a microwave from a heater 13. Thus, due to internal heating, the pine resin is dissolved rapidly so that the working time can be reduced and the pine resin can be prevented from being carbonized. Preferably, a storage 14 is provided under the vessel 14 and is connected to the vessel by way of a communicating pipe 12, so as to store the pine resin 2a heated and dissolved in the vessel 11. The storage 14 is made up of an outer wall 14a, an inner wall 14b, and a cover 14c for closing tightly the storage. Heating elements 15 and 17 composed of nichrome wire, etc., are equipped on the communicating pipe 12 and between the outer wall 14a and the inner wall 14b of the storage 14, thereby preventing solidification of the pine resin 2a dissolved.
