本発明は建材や家具材として使用される陶磁器
製またはプラスチツクスやセメント類の形成物よ

く見ることのできなかつた化石調模様のある装飾
パネルを安価に提供しようとするもので、装飾粒
体を混在させたパネル本体の表面を研磨加工面に
形成した装飾パネルにおいて、前記装飾粒体が陶
磁器坏土よりなる不定形粒体にこれとは色調の異
なる色層をコーテイングした着色不定形粒体の焼
結物であつて、パネル本体表面の研磨加工面に前
記焼結物の破断面である化石調模様が点在されて

本発明においてパネル本体の材質は、陶磁器の
外、プラスチツクスであつても白色セメントや硫
酸カルシウムなどであつてもよいが、特に、陶磁
器は焼結物と同材であるので両者が強固に一体化
され、強度的にも体裁上も最適である。また、陶
磁器坏土よりなる不定形粒体にコーテイングされ
る色層としては、顔料を加えた陶磁器坏土よりな
るコーテイング用泥奬の外、硫酸ニツケルその他
着色可溶性塩類の水溶液などを浸漬法、スプレー
法その他任意の方法でコーテイングすればよく、
また、色層として前記のようなコーテイング用泥
奬を用いる場合は焼固温度を調整するためアルミ
ナやマグネシアその他の金属化合物の適量を添加
してもよい。さらに、この色層は不定形粒体の表
面に一層コーテイングするだけであつてもよい
が、同系色または異系色のものを多層にコーテイ
ングしておけば一層興趣深いものとなる。なお、
パネル本体の色は白色に限定されないことは勿論
であり、また、パネル本体は初めからパネル状に
成形されたものとする外、ブロツク状に成形して
これを所要厚さにスライスしたものであつてもよ

実施例 1
長石粉50%(重量%以下同じ)、木節粘土25%、
珪石粉12%、朝鮮カオリン10%、石灰石粉3%よ
りなる調合物を水分8%に乾燥、粗砕して10メツ
シユパスの陶磁器坏土粉6Kgを得た、次に、この
陶磁器坏土粉1000gと500gと500gを分取し、
1000gの陶磁器坏土粉に市販の灰色顔料40gを適
量の水とともに加えて混練し、2〜6メツシユの
篩を通過させたうえ乾燥させて不定形粒体を作成
する。また、一方の分取した陶磁器坏土粉500g
には灰色顔料10gと260c.c.の水と0.1gの珪酸ソーダ
を加えて解膠して第1のコーテイング用泥奬と
し、また、他方の分取した陶磁器坏土粉500gに
は灰色顔料5gと260c.c.の水と0.1gの珪酸ソーダを
加えて解膠して第2のコーテイング用泥奬とし
た。そして、前記工程で得られた不定形粒体1Kg
を先ず第1のコーテイング用泥奬に浸漬後取り出
して乾燥したうえ第2のコーテイング用泥奬に浸
漬し、濃淡2層の灰色系の色層をコーテイングし
た着色不定形粒体を得た。一方、残りの陶磁器坏
土粉4Kgはこれに水および適量の解膠剤を加えて
水分28%の鋳込み用泥奬とした。そして、150×
100×15mmの石膏型の底へ先ず前記した着色不定
形粒体を敷き並べ、振動を加えながら前記した鋳
込み用泥奬を流し込み、吸い込み途中でこの鋳込
み用泥奬を追加鋳込みして表面を平らにならし、
完全に吸着させた後2時間放置したうえ脱型、乾
燥してタイル素地を得た。このタイル素地を1280
℃で8時間を要して焼成後着色不定形粒体の焼結
物が散着された側を研磨加工して磨きタイルとし
たところ、タイル表面には濃灰色の芯部に灰色の
中間層と淡灰色の表層とが縞模様状に現れた化石

た。この成形物を実施例1と同様に焼成後片面を

ろ、芯部が白色でその周りを灰色の縞模様とする
化石調模様が白色素地に点在されて雅趣のある建
