When the amount of oil flowing out is small, methods such as adsorbing the oil on an adsorbent, collecting it, and squeezing out the oil are used.

A large amount of perlite grains, which are used as insulation and cold insulation materials for storage tanks for low-temperature liquids such as liquefied petroleum gas (liquefied petroleum gas), are generated when the tank is dismantled, and in that case, oil may adhere to the pearlite grains. Based on the fact that it has good oil adsorption properties and has a low specific gravity and floats on the water surface, pearlite particles are used as an adsorbent to recover oil.

The oil is collected by suction with a pump, etc., and then incinerated. In addition to improving oil recovery efficiency by utilizing the adsorption properties of pearlite particles, the incineration process after collection also regenerates the pearlite particles. It is easy to use and can be easily reused.

It floats on the water surface, and because it is porous, it has good oil adsorption properties, and when it is sprinkled on the oil 1 floating on the water surface, the oil is adsorbed faster than it adsorbs water.

The oil is adsorbed to the grains, and the oil-adsorbed pearlite grains are collected.
Since this is incinerated, floating oil can be efficiently recovered by utilizing the adsorption properties of pearlite particles, and the pearlite particles can be easily regenerated by incineration treatment after recovery, making it easy to absorb oil. It can be reused.
