粧板として、基板がゾノトライト、ガラス繊維お
よび有機高分子系重合エマルジヨン等からなり、
該基板の表面に不揮発部65〜85%の1液湿気硬化
型ウレタン樹脂塗料を塗布し、その上から基板へ
の含浸性の高い体質顔料を含む紫外線硬化型不飽
和ポリエステル、エポキシ、アクリル、アクリ
ル・ポリエステル等の目止め樹脂塗料を圧縮塗布
して樹脂層となし、研磨された前記樹脂層表面に
適宜の上塗りを行なうこととしたものである。

有機高分子系重合エマルジヨン等からなる人造木
材を用い、厚さ12m/m、巾1m、長さ3m、比
重0.6の基板表面に、樹脂分80%、平均分子量
300、遊離イソシアネート37%以下のモノマーを
多量に含む1液湿気硬化型ウレタンシーラーをシ
ンナーで100%希釈を行ない、該シーラーを溝付
ロールにて92g/m2塗布し硬化させる。次に紫外
線硬化型アクリル・ポリエステル共重合体がオリ
ゴマー状戴にあつて、かつ体質顔料が50〜70%混
練され含浸性を高めた目止め樹脂塗料を100〜150
g/m2塗布し、働き幅1400m/mで100〜500Kgの
荷重をかける得るリバースロールコーターにより
塗料を基板表面に圧着しながらかき上げて、該目
止め樹脂塗料を圧縮塗布する。次に5秒程度のセ
ツテイング時間をとり、高圧水銀ランプ80w/cm
の出力にて、紫外線を約5秒間照射して硬化させ
る。そして次にワイドベルトサンダー(粒度
#240〜#320)にて研摩して平滑面を得た後、表
面に付着する研摩粉を除去し、熱風で板温を40〜
50℃に上昇させてアクリルウレタンエナメル塗料
をロールコーター、フローコーターで90〜120
g/m2塗布して、乾燥させ本発明のけい酸カルシ
ウム系板材よりなる人造木材の化粧板を得た。

ノトライトの針状結晶とガラス繊維の機械的カラ
ミ強度を強化するために有機高分子系重合エマル
ジヨンを介在させている構造であるため、1液湿
気硬化型ウレタンシーラーを低分子量で樹脂分の
多い、かつモノマーを多量に含むものとしたこと
により、基板に対する含浸性及び表面強化性が増
し、又目止め樹脂塗料もオリゴマー成分を含むの
で、シーラー層への浸透性があり、かつ若干の伸
縮性を有し、基板の性能を阻害することなく、乾
熱繰り返しテストにも合格し、塗膜、基板間の平
面引張り強度を測定したところ、4〜7Kg/cm2
示し、何れも基板部の破壊であつた。
