オプシヨンのシリアルインタフエースの接続を可
能としたプリンタのインタフエース接続機構にお
いて、 プリンタ本体はオプシヨンのシリアルインタフ
エース専用の接続コネクタを有することなく、標
準装備のパラレルインタフエースとオプシヨンの
シリアルインタフエースのいずれにも適用可能な
接続コネクタを備えたことを特徴とするプリンタ
のインタフエース接続機構。 (2) 前記標準装備のパラレルインタフエースと
オプシヨンのシリアルインタフエースのいずれに
も適用可能な接続コネクタとして、標準装備のパ
ラレルインタフエース用コネクタを用いることを
特徴とする請求項１記載のプリンタのインタフエ
ース接続機構。 (3) 前記オプシヨンのシリアルインタフエース
はその内部にマイクロプロセツサを有し、シリア
ルデータをパラレルデータに変換して、これを前
記プリンタの標準装備のパラレルインタフエース
用コネクタを介して前記プリンタ本体に送信でき
るように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項
