(Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to a polyolefin film coated with an acrylic polymer having excellent oil resistance, and more particularly to a coated polyolefin film suitable for packaging articles containing oil. (Conventional technology) Conventional polyolefin films are characterized by their transparency,
Because it has the characteristics of flexibility and low cost, it can be used as it is or biaxially stretched, or for the purpose of imparting properties such as heat sealability and gas barrier properties to the surface, for example, on a corona-treated surface. First, an anchor coating layer is provided, and then a top coating layer of polyvinylidene chloride resin or the like is coated on top of the anchor coating layer, and sometimes a thermally adhesive film is further laminated on the back surface, which is commonly used as a packaging material. The above-mentioned anchor coating layer was used for the purpose of increasing the adhesion between the base polyolefin film and the top coating layer. Until now, there has been no known film that has an anchor coating layer that has oil resistance and also has thermal adhesive properties by providing a top coating layer, as in the present invention. (Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, resins such as polypropylene and polyethylene have the property of swelling when absorbing oils such as mineral oils and aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene. Products containing the above-mentioned oils, such as thiokolate, etc., inner-wrapped with wrapping paper printed using printing ink containing the above-mentioned oils, can be packaged using packaging materials using polyolefin films. If an item is left in an atmosphere containing the vapors of the above oils, even a polyolefin film with a polyvinylidene chloride layer on its surface, it will absorb oil and wrinkles will appear on the surface, reducing the commercial value of the packaged item. It has the disadvantage of significantly impairing the In order to improve these poor oil resistances, proposals have been made, for example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 57-20322 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 57-20346. The former relates to improving the oil resistance of polyolefin films, and the latter relates to improving the oil resistance of polyolefin films coated with polyvinylidene chloride resin. This is intended to offset the residual heat shrinkage of
Because it fluctuates depending on the winter season, it is not possible to obtain a stable effect throughout the year. (Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned drawbacks caused by oil absorption by polyolefin films, the inventors of the present invention have conducted intensive studies and found that a specific acrylic polymer is added to the surface of polyolefin films. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that oil components do not pass through this acrylic polymer layer and are not absorbed by the polyolefin film layer by providing a layer containing . That is, in the present invention, in a polyolefin film having a polyvinylidene chloride layer on at least one side, the secondary transition point between the polyolefin film base material and the polyvinylidene chloride layer is 100 to 100.
The present invention relates to a coated polyolefin film with excellent oil resistance, characterized by providing a polymer layer containing at least 40% by weight of an acrylic polymer having an average molecular weight of 10,000 to 300,000 at 110°C. The polyolefin film used in the present invention is not particularly limited, and examples include casting films made of polypropylene, polyethylene, polybutylene, ionomers, mixtures and copolymers thereof, and uniaxially or biaxially stretched films. The acrylic polymer used in the present invention has a secondary transition point of 100 to 110°C and an average molecular weight of 10,000 to 300,000, preferably 40,000 to 200,000. If the secondary transition point is less than 100°C, the oil absorption and oil permeability will be high, and the oil shielding effect on the polyolefin film layer will be insufficient. If it exceeds 110°C, the solubility in the coating solvent will be low. This is undesirable because the flexibility of the coating film deteriorates significantly, and when it is bent, pinholes and cracks are likely to occur, and the oil shielding effect decreases. Also, those with an average molecular weight of less than 10,000 will have insufficient oil resistance (oil shielding effect), and those with an average molecular weight of more than 300,000 will have reduced solubility in coating solvents, and even if they can be dissolved, the solution viscosity will be low. It is not practical due to the high cost. Examples of monomers constituting the acrylic polymer used in the present invention include methyl methacrylate,
Ethyl methacrylate, isopropyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, isobutyl methacrylate, amyl methacrylate, n-methacrylate
Methacrylic acid such as hexyl, 2-ethylhexyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, isopropyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, amyl acrylate, n-hexyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, and acrylic Examples include acrylic acid monomers consisting of acid alkyl esters, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, glycidyl methacrylate, etc., and one or more of the above monomers may be used. In addition to the above monomers, 30 mol% of maleic acid, itaconic acid, vinyl acetate, acrylonitrile, styrene, vinylidene chloride, and acrylamide were added.
It may be contained within the following range. Further, methods for providing the acrylic polymer layer of the present invention include, but are not limited to, the following methods. Use alone. It is used in combination with a component containing an isocyanate group to improve adhesion to polyolefin films. A component containing a hydroxyl group and a component containing an isocyanate group are mixed together for use. Furthermore, in order to enhance the oil resistance effect, polyvinylidene chloride resin and polyvinyl chloride resin are used in combination. When the acrylic polymer of the present invention is used in combination with other components, the acrylic polymer accounts for 40% by weight.
The above is preferable. The content of the acrylic polymer is
If it is less than 40% by weight, the effect on oil resistance will be insufficient. In addition, in order to impart properties such as heat sealability, gas barrier properties, sliding properties, and packaging suitability to the polyolefin film, polyvinylidene chloride resin, chlorinated polypropylene resin, etc. are further added to the surface of the acrylic polymer layer. It is also possible to provide a coating of Next, a method for manufacturing the coated polyolefin film of the present invention will be explained. After subjecting one or both sides of the polyolefin film to surface treatment such as corona treatment if necessary, the acrylic polymer of the present invention is dissolved in a mixed solvent suitable for dissolving the resin used in the present invention, such as toluene or ethyl acetate. It is coated at a concentration of 0.1 to 1.0 g/m 2 in terms of solid content per side and dried at 90 to 100°C to obtain an acrylic polymer-coated polyolefin film. As a method for applying the acrylic polymer of the present invention, gravure roll, reverse roll, Meyer bar, dip method, etc. can be used. When applying a polyvinylidene chloride resin emulsion to provide packaging suitability such as heat sealability and gas barrier properties, it is necessary to coat the acrylic polymer layer of the acrylic polymer coated film with a polyvinylidene chloride resin emulsion of 1.5 to 3
g/m 2 , applied by air knife method, 90~
The coated polyolefin film of the present invention can be produced by drying at 100°C for 10 seconds. In addition, the polyvinylidene chloride coating material may be used in combination with other compounding materials such as anti-blocking agents such as silica, lubricants such as paraffin wax, and anionic, cationic, or nonionic antistatic agents using conventional methods. good. When used in combination, packaging suitability can be significantly improved and it is effective. The film of the present invention can be applied not only to the above-mentioned cosmetic boxes but also to packaging all items containing oily substances. (Examples) Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically explained by examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The method for measuring the physical properties of the film shown in the Examples is as follows. (1) Oil resistance Prepare two test pieces of 6 cm x 6 cm, and apply OP varnish (manufactured by Toyo Ink, 6P, 260 to 280℃) on one test surface.
Apply 20mg of mineral oil (containing 20% mineral oil) in a circular shape (3cmφ), place another test surface on top of it, and after adhering it well, sandwich it between 10cm x 10cm glass plates with a thickness of 3mm and place it in an airtight container. and stored at 35°C for 3 days. Judgment criteria: ○: No amorphous wrinkles were observed. △: 〃 〃 Occurred a little. ×: 〃 〃 It occurred countless times. (2) Oil absorption rate A 6 cm x 6 cm double-sided coated test piece was suspended in a desiccator filled with OP varnish and saturated with its volatile vapor at 40°C, and evaluated by weight increase rate after being left for 4 days. Oil absorption rate (weight %) = Weight of test piece after treatment (g) - Weight of test piece before treatment (g) / Weight of test piece before treatment (g)
(3) Actual packaging test for cosmetic printed boxes The outer wrapping film of commercially available cosmetic boxed confectionery was removed, the test film was used instead, and the packaging was tightly wrapped at 35°C.
After being left for 2 weeks under the following conditions, the test film was evaluated as follows according to the degree of wrinkles on its surface. Judgment Criteria ○: No irregular wrinkles were observed. △: 〃 〃 Occurred a little. ×: 〃 〃 It occurred countless times. (4) Heat seal strength The coated surface of a 15 mm wide test piece was sealed at 120℃.
Heat-sealed with a bar sealer (sealing pressure 1Kg/cm 2 , sealing time 0.5 seconds), and Tensilon (pulling speed 100mm/min, chart speed 300mm/min).
The heat seal strength was measured by peeling at 90°. Examples 1 to 5 A 20μ biaxially oriented polypropylene film was coated with the first
After coating with a 10% solution (ethyl acetate, toluene mixture) of the anchor coating agent having the composition shown in the table using a gravure roll, it was dried with hot air at 90°C for 10 seconds to form a coating with a coating weight of 0.3 g/ m2. Formed. Furthermore, on top of this, a solid content concentration of 40 with the following composition
% by weight of the top coating agent with a Meyer bar so that the coating amount is 3 g/ m2 ,
It was dried with hot air at 90°C for 10 seconds. The same operation was repeated to obtain a biaxially stretched polypropylene film coated on both sides. Top coating agent formulation: Polyvinylidene chloride resin emulsion (heat seal type, solid content 50%) 100 parts Silica (particle size 3μ, solid content 100%) 0.25 parts Wax emulsion (mp60℃, solid content 30
%) 4.0 parts phosphate ester antistatic agent (solid content 20%)
As shown in Table 1, the properties of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film coated on both sides with each of the obtained formulations were excellent in packaging suitability such as oil resistance and HS property. Example 6 Example 1 except that an unstretched polypropylene film was used instead of the biaxially stretched polypropylene film.
An acrylic polymer and a polyvinylidene chloride resin emulsion were coated in exactly the same manner as above to obtain a double-sided coated unstretched polypropylene film. As shown in Table 1, the obtained film had good packaging properties such as oil resistance and HS property. Comparative example 1 Secondary transition point 20 as anchor coating agent
℃, coated in the same manner as in Example 1 except for using an acrylic copolymer with an average molecular weight of 70,000,
A coated biaxially oriented polypropylene film was obtained. As shown in Table 1, the obtained film had poor oil resistance. Comparative Example 2 An acrylic polymer was not used as the anchor coating agent, except that a component containing 90% by weight of hydroxyl groups (Toyobo, Byron 30S) and a reactive component containing isocyanate groups (Japan Polyurethane, Coronate L) were used. Coating was carried out in the same manner as in Example 1 to obtain a coated biaxially stretched polypropylene film. As shown in Table 1, the obtained film had poor oil resistance. Comparative Examples 3-4 A coated biaxially stretched polypropylene film was obtained in the same manner as in Example 2, except that the acrylic copolymer used as the anchor coating agent had a low secondary transition point. The properties of the obtained film are as follows:
As shown in the table, oil resistance was not sufficient.
