Abstract

PURPOSE:To cut a wire automatically and correctly without requiring assistance by providing a wire receiving cutting length setting means consisting of cutting stripe length setting piece movably and fixedly mounted in the inside of the down stream side of a box rail and a spring provided on a device frame and activating a box rail and a cutting box to the downstream side. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting, a wire P previously cut to a fixed length is filled and made to stay inside a box rail 22 so as to prevent the wire from bending when the tip of the wire P being to be next sent in, collides with a cut stripe setting piece 25. Now, when the wire P is sent from a unwinding machine to a tooth rest 15, the wire P enters the box rail 22 to hit on the cutting stripe length setting piece 25 to move the box rail 22 and a cutting box 13 through a setting piece 25 resisting a spring 25. This moving amount becomes a fixed amount, that is, a delivery length from a blade 17 becomes a prescribed length. An anvil 16 is positioned below a hammer 20 to be struck and a blade supporting lever 14 comes down to cut the wire P by the blade 17 and the tooth rest 15 to a fixed length.

Attach this to utility pole H, and if the cross section is concave, attach electric wire a to utility pole H and cover it with earth molding M (Figure 9).
In both cases, the earth mall M was fastened with steel bands, etc., and the work was complicated, and improvements were desired.

In Japanese Patent Application No. 1-1-199779, a grounding wire P shown in FIG.
Each of the grounding wires P shown in the figure was proposed. In each of these electric wires P, a protective coating 2 having a crescent-shaped or flat trapezoid cross section is provided around an insulated wire 1, and a cavity 3 is formed inside the protective coating 2 as appropriate (Fig. 6, Fig. 7). The bottom side 2a of the cross section of the protective coating 2 is attached to the utility pole H.

In the fixed length cutting device according to the present invention configured as described above, when an electric wire is fed from the feeding means, the electric wire passes through the electric wire through hole of the blade receiver and slides along the inner surface of the back of the electric wire guide box track, When the tip hits the cutting length setting piece and is fed further, the wire guide box rail and the cutting box connected thereto are pushed downstream against the biasing force of the spring. When the push reaches the required distance, the head of the blade support rod is struck with a hammer, the wire is cut by the blade attached to the blade support rod, and then the wire guide box rail and cutting box are separated by the bias of the spring. Return to original position.

Thereafter, the same process is repeated to sequentially cut the wires and store them in the box rail. Tw that is cut off and stays in the box rail
A is prevented from falling by itself by the spring at the opening of the box rail, and descends one after another as the tip of the wire being fed advances, and the outermost wire is detached from the spring by its lower part and falls.

If the spring is too strong, the frictional resistance between the incoming wire and the staying wire will become large, causing the box rail and cutting box to move before the wire tip reaches the cutting length setting piece, resulting in a shorter length than desired. Since things will be cut, choose an appropriate strength experimentally.

Also, if the spring that biases the box rail is too strong,
The wire sent in presses down on the cut stagnant wire and bends, resulting in the wire being cut longer than desired, so its strength must be selected experimentally.
