Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure the heating of water without producing the reverse flow phenomenon by a method wherein a water stop valve and a check valve for introducing water in a bathtub toward only a heating pipe are integrally formed to make up a water stream control part and, when the water level is higher than a water inlet opening, the check valve is raised to a position confronting the water inlet opening due to its buoyant force and, when it is lower, the water stop valve is lowered under its own weight below the water inlet opening to draw the water in. CONSTITUTION:When a heating pipe is heated by a heating part, the temperature of water in the heating pipe is raised and the resulting hot water is run, due to its specific gravity and as a hot water, from a water supply opening into a bathtub. At this time, due to the negative pressure produced in the heating pipe, a check valve 16 is opened toward the heating pipe, a cold water in the bathtub is also allowed to flow from a water inlet opening into the heating pipe and heated therein and the water is raised due to a decrease in specific gravity, made hot and allowed to flow into the bathtub from the water supply opening. A cyclic operation per the aforesaid procedure is repeated. When the heating is stopped, since the heating pipe is cooled by outside air, the temperature of the hot water in the heating pipe is decreased and its specific gravity is increased. Although such water attempts to run reversely from the water inlet opening located below, it is not possible as the check valve 16 blocks an opening part 14.

Detailed Description of the Invention (Field of Industrial Application) The present invention provides a water supply port and a water intake port arranged vertically on the side wall of a bathtub, and connects them to the ends of heating pipes of a burner, thereby reducing the amount of water in the bathtub. This is an invention of a device that is installed in a bathtub that heats hot water while circulating it to prevent backflow of hot water from inside the bathtub to the bathtub.

(Prior Art) Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, a water intake port 3 is provided at the bottom of a side wall 2 above the bathtub, and a water supply port 4 is provided at the top thereof, and these are connected to a heating pipe 5 inside a bath pot 7. When the heating tube 5 is heated by a heating unit 6 such as a gas burner, the hot water in the heating tube 5 decreases its specific gravity and rises, causing water to freely circulate between the bathtub 1 and the heating tube 5. Bathtub 1 as hot water from 4
A bathtub is known in which the cold water in the bathtub 1 is drawn into the heating pipe 5 from the water intake port 3 to sequentially heat the hot water in the bathtub.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in this conventional bath pot 7, when the heating tube 5 is not heated, the heating tube 5 is cooled by the outside air, so the temperature of the hot water in the heating tube 5 decreases. - The water increases its specific gravity, moves downward, and flows out from the water intake 3 into the bathtub 1, creating a so-called backflow phenomenon in which the hot water in the bathtub is sequentially cooled in a process that is exactly the opposite of the heating process described above. There was a drawback.

In addition, if a check valve is installed at the water intake to prevent this backflow phenomenon, hot water will remain in the heating pipe even when the hot water in the bathtub is drained, making it easy for rust to form inside the heating pipe and reducing its durability. It was not suitable for practical use because of the problem of significant damage.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above object, the backflow prevention device of the present invention has the following features:
The water flow control unit is formed by integrally forming the water stop valve that stops the flow of water and the check valve that conducts the water in the bathtub only in the direction of the heating pipe, and when the water level is higher than the water intake port, the water flow is reversed due to buoyancy. A stop valve is placed in the water intake, and when the water level is lower than the water intake, the water stop valve is lowered to below the water intake due to its own weight.

When water is poured into the bathtub 1, when the water level in the bathtub is higher than the water intake port 3, the water stop valve 13 floats up and closes the front surface of the water intake port 3. Here, since the check valve 16 has a specific gravity smaller than that of water, it tries to stand up vertically using the shaft mounting part 15 as a fulcrum, and closes the opening 14 (FIG. 2a).
