Claims (1)
ツダープレートと、これらヘツダープレートの外
側に連結されたヘツダータンクと、前記ヘツダー
プレートの両端部に一体的に形成され内側壁と底
壁と外側壁とで画成され前記ヘツダータンクの周
縁部を受入れる凹溝と、前記外側壁に突設されか
つ内側に折曲され前記凹溝内に受入れられた前記
ヘツダータンクの周縁部を係止する押え爪と、前
記コアの両側に接合され前記一対のヘツダープレ
ート間を連結するサイドプレートとを備えた熱交
換器において、前記ヘツダープレートの外側壁に
、先端が前記押え爪と反対方向に延出して前記外
側壁との間にU字溝を形成するように折曲部を介
して折返される保持爪を形成し、この保持爪の折
曲部に差込み孔を開口し、かつ前記サイドプレー
トの接合面の端部に内爪と係止爪とを形成し、内
爪は前記ヘツダープレートの内側壁の内面に接合
するとともに、前記係止爪は先端を前記ヘツダー
プレートの底壁の底面及び外側壁の外面に接合さ
せて延出し、前記保持爪のU字溝内に接合し、更
に該先端を前記差込み孔を通して保持爪の外側に
延出し、この外側に延出した該先端を内側に折曲
げて前記凹溝内に受入れられた前記ヘツダータン
クの周縁部を係止するようにしたことを特徴とす
