にプリフォームからの距離か短いため延伸配向による強
度の向上か小さく、従って凹部上下・面の把手取り付け

本発明は、プラスチックボトル本体の断面形状を工夫す
ることにより前記課題を解決せんとしたものであり、そ
の要旨はプラスチックボトル本体側面に把手取り付け用
の凹部を形成し、この凹部に別体の把手を取り付けてな
る把手付プラスチックボトルであって、前記四部の把手
取り付け部上方および下方におけるボトル本体の横断面
形状が外方に突出した角部をなしていることを特徴とす
る把手付プラスチックボトルである。凹部の上方および
下方におけるボトル本体の横断面形状が外方に突出した
角部をなしているので、成形時にこの角部が大きく延伸
配向され、これに引きずられるように隣接する凹部の上

すように凹部2の上面21および下面22の取り付け面
は奥に向かって狭くなるように傾斜しており、把手3の
嵌着腕31の上面および下面も傾斜しているのでその接
触面積が広くなり応力が分散するので、取付強度が向上
する。またこのように凹部2の上面21および下面22
を内方に狭くなるよう傾斜させておくと、本体1を成形
する時に全体として均一に引き伸ばされ、部分的な低延
伸部が生じ難く補強効果が向上する。特に把手2の上部
嵌着腕31の下方にボトル本体の肩部13を位置させて

向され、把手の取り付け強度の向上した優れたものであ
