DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a method for adjusting the inclination of the seat plate and backrest so that the chair, that is, the sitting state, can be made into a comfortable sitting state depending on the usage pattern of the sitter, or a seating state that is suitable for work such as office work. The purpose of this chair is to tilt the backrest backwards to create a comfortable sitting position, or to lower the rear part of the seat board in conjunction with the rotation of the backrest when used in an upright position. This allows for a more comfortable sitting position, or by lowering the front part of the seat plate, it is possible to create a sitting position suitable for office work. In conventional chairs,
For example, when making a comfortable seating position, the seat back can be tilted backwards by itself, or as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 127617/1984, the seat plate can be moved in the front and rear direction in conjunction with the back tilt. A configuration in which the device can be slid is known. However, in the former case, the seat plate is not tilted in conjunction with the tilting of the backrest, so even if you lean back and take a comfortable state, you can only stretch your back and stretch your abdomen. It worked, but it was impossible for me to get into a comfortable state where I felt so weak that I sank deep into the chair. In addition, when doing office work at a desk, there is a problem in that when the person leans forward and puts their weight on the front of the seat, the back of the seated person is extremely far away from the backrest, making the backrest no longer noticeable. In the latter case, as the backrest tilts backward, the seat plate moves rearward and its rear part sinks, causing the seated person's center of gravity to move backward and downward, giving the seated person a sense of anxiety. It was hot.

The present invention was developed in view of the current situation, and its gist is that when the seat is comfortably seated, the seat plate does not move forward or backward in conjunction with the backward tilting of the backrest from the normal state. The seat is tilted forward with high front and back high to create a comfortable state where you sink deeply into the chair, and when working at a desk, the seat is tilted forward with front low and rear high, and the seat is interlocked with the forward tilting of the seat. The backrest is made to stand up or lean forward more than in the normal state, so that there is no extreme distance between the back of the seater and the backrest of the person who is leaning forward, and the distance between the backrest and the seat board is reduced. By making the rotation angle of the backrest larger than the rotation angle of the seat plate tilting during interlocking, it is possible to achieve a comfortable seating condition that matches the natural movement and form of the human body, and also to achieve a desired seating condition. The backrest can be rotated quickly when the seat is moved to the seat.

In the present invention, the gas spring 4 is constructed to constantly urge the piston 4' in the extruding direction with gas pressure, and a push valve 4'' provided at the end of the piston 4' is pressed by an appropriate means. The piston is extended by the switch, and the piston is maintained in a predetermined extended state by removing the pressing force on the switch. Therefore, the operating mechanism for operating the gas spring 4 by pressing the push valve 4'' is, for example, As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the pusher 18 and the intermediate member 19 are pivotally supported by a stop shaft 17 installed on the base member 2, and a spring-loaded adjustment bolt 20 screwed onto the intermediate member is connected to the stepped portion of the pusher 18. The pusher 18 is brought into contact with the pusher valve 4'' which is constantly pressed by gas pressure, and the opening formed in the upper part of the intermediate member 19 is inserted between the base member 2 and the seat plate support member 3. One end of the interlocking rod 21 is connected to the intermediate member 19 by passing through the bent part of the intervening interlocking rod 21 and tightening the bolt, and the other end of the interlocking rod 21 is connected to the seat plate support member 3, an opening 3' formed in the side wall of the base member 2;
2" and is configured by engaging the end of a lever 22 which can be moved up and down by lever action using the part passing through to the opening 2" as a fulcrum, and when operating, the part passing through to the opening 2" serves as a fulcrum. By the lever action, the interlocking rod 21 is pushed down and the intermediate member 19 is moved to the stop shaft 17.
The tip of the adjustment bolt 20 presses the pusher 18, the pusher 18 rotates around the stop shaft 17, and the pusher 18 presses the pusher valve 4'' against the biasing force of the gas pressure to release the gas. This makes the spring 4 expandable and retractable. The adjustment bolt 20, which is provided in contact with the pusher 18, is
By adjusting this screw forward and backward, it is possible to prevent the operating mechanism of the gas spring 4 from wobbling due to the operation of the lever 22, adjust the play, and also make it possible to adjust the operating stroke.

Therefore, in the chair of the present invention, when seated on the seat plate 7 in the normal no-load state shown in FIG.
When the user operates the gas spring 4 to make it expandable and retractable, and at the same time tilts the body backward or forward to apply a load to the rear or front of the seat plate 7, the seat support member 3 rotates about the pivot 10. Then, as shown in FIG. 5 or 6, the seat plate supporting member 3 is tilted low at the rear or low at the front. This rotational operation of the seat plate support member 3 will be explained in more detail based on the rearward tilting operation downward. Bass board 7
When a load is applied to the rear part of the seat plate support member 3, the pivot 1
At the same time, the pivots 11 and 13 also pivot about the pivot 10 as indicated by arrows P and Q in FIG.
It rotates downward as shown in the figure, but the pivot 13
is connected to the rear end of the base member 2 by a pivot shaft 14 via a gas spring 4, so it follows a rotational trajectory around the pivot shaft 14 as shown by arrow P' in FIG. However, the difference in rotation radius between the two rotation orbits P and P' is absorbed by the expansion and contraction of the piston 4' of the gas spring 4, and the piston 4' of the gas spring 4 is rotated according to the rotation orbit P, and the gas spring 4 is rotated at a predetermined rotation position. It is maintained at As the pivot 11 rotates, the backrest support member 6 also rotates rearward and downward.
The backrest support member is connected to the rear end of the base member 2 by the pivots 15 and 16 via the connecting rod 5 at a position below the pivot point of the pivot 11, so that the pivot 11 can be rotated. At the same time as it moves along the trajectory Q, the pivot point of the backrest support member 6 by the pivot 15 moves along the rotation trajectory Q' caused by the rotation of the connecting rod 5 about the pivot 16. The backrest support member 6 rotates around the pivot 11 by the rotation radius difference between the moving trajectories Q and Q', and as a result, the rotation angle of the seat plate support member 3 around the pivot 11 is smaller than the rotation angle around the pivot 10. The rotation angle of the backrest support member 6 is increased by the rotation angle. Therefore, in order to make the rotation angle of the backrest 8, that is, the backrest support member 6 larger than the rotation angle of the seat plate 7, that is, the seat plate support member 3, it is necessary to consider conditions such as making the structure compact. forms a pivot point with the connecting rod 5 by the pivot 15 at a position below the pivot point with the seat plate support member 3 by the pivot 11, and the rotation trajectory Q' of the pivot 15 due to the rotation of the connecting rod 5 is the pivot point. Both rotation orbits Q3 are located within the radius of rotation of the rotation orbit Q of the pivot 11 with the axis 10 as the center.
Assume that the difference in rotation radius of Q′ is large.

Therefore, in order to regulate the start and end points of rotation of the seat plate support member 3 about the pivot 10 and to provide a buffer when stopping at a predetermined rotation position, the front end bottom surface of the seat plate support member 3 and the plate are used in the present invention. Rubber elastic members 23 are provided oppositely on the lower surface of 9, the upper elastic member 23 is fitted into the sub member 2' of the base member 2, and the lower elastic member 23 is fitted between both side walls of the base member 2. When rotating the seat plate backward and downward, the lower elastic member 23 is brought into contact with the lower surface of the base member 2, as shown in FIG. As shown in Fig. 6, the upper elastic member 23 is brought into elastic contact with the upper surface of the base sub-member 2', thereby performing a stopper function and producing a buffering effect. Under the normal state of the invented chair, both elastic members 23 are in a balanced state.

According to the chair of the present invention as described above, the main leg 1
A seat plate support member 3 is attached to a base member 2 fixed to the upper end of the
In this chair, the seat plate support member 3 and the backrest support member 6 are attached to a pivot 11 in a chair in which a predetermined rotational state is maintained by a gas spring 4 attached to a base member 2. The backrest support member 6 can be moved in conjunction with the rotation of the seat plate support member 3, and the backrest support member 6 is pivoted to one end of the connecting rod 5 using a pivot 15 below the pivot 11. connect,
By connecting the other end of the connecting rod 5 to the rear upper end of the base member 2 via a pivot 16, the seat plate support member 3 can be pivoted when tilting backward or downward or forward and downward about the pivot 10. The rotation radius of the pivot 15 caused by the rotation of the connecting rod 5 about the pivot 16 is made smaller than the rotation radius of the pivot 11 about the pivot 10, thereby creating a difference between the two rotation radii. When the rotation angle of the backrest support member 6 is made larger than the rotation angle of 3, and the seat plate 7 is rotated rearward and downward about the pivot 10 to achieve a comfortable seating state, the rotation angle of the seat plate 7 is Since the rear part is low and the backrest 8 is tilted significantly backwards, it is possible to achieve a natural and comfortable state of comfort where you sink deeply into the chair, and the seat plate 7 does not move back and forth to maintain its position. Since the rear part sinks, the seated person does not feel uneasy, and when the backrest is tilted backwards, as the load is applied backwards and downwards, normally both the seat plate and the backrest suddenly tilt around their respective pivot points. However, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. Since the pivot 13 is pivotally connected to the base member 2 and the rear upper end is pivotally connected to the bending support rod 12 fixed to the seat plate support member 3, the rear upper end can be pivoted even when the seat plate and backrest are tilted backward. Since the point is not at the same level or lower than the pivot point at the lower front end, the load acts in a direction that compresses the piston 4' of the gas spring 4, and the internal gas pressure increases, causing it to tilt backward. There is no risk of the seat plate or backrest suddenly pivoting backwards or downwards.

On the other hand, in contrast to the above case, when the load is applied to the front of the seat plate 7 by leaning forward, such as when doing office work at a desk, the seat plate 7 rotates forward and downward, making the front tilt lower. In addition to adapting to the movements of the seated person, the backrest 8 also stands up as shown in FIG. 6 compared to the normal state shown in FIG. 4, creating an extreme distance between it and the seated person's back. This allows the user to immediately shift from a forward-leaning posture to leaning on the backrest 8 or to the above-mentioned comfortable state easily and effortlessly.

Furthermore, in the present invention, all the parts for rotating the seat plate 7 and the backrest 8 are housed within the seat plate supporting member 3 as shown in FIG. Also, there is no risk of hindrance when the seat is attached to or removed from the seat plate 7, and the configuration and assembly can be simplified. Furthermore, a rubber elastic material 23 is installed facing each other between the front ends of the base member 2 and the seat support member 3, and is used not only as a stopper for the rotation range of the seat support member 3, but also as a stopper for the rotation range of the seat support member 3. When the device is held at a rotating angle, the elastic material 23 alleviates the impact caused by the gas pressure of the gas spring 4 when the device stops operating, thereby allowing smooth use.
