銃ユニツトと、前記電子銃ユニツトからの電子ビ
ームにより発光する蛍光手段と、前記蛍光手段が
内面に配置されるガラス製フロントパネルと、前
記フロントパネルに前記電子銃ユニツトを減圧下
で収納するように接合されたリアパネルと、前記
接合部に貫通するように設けられ前記電子銃ユニ
ツトに電気的に接続された外部引出端子とを有す
る陰極線管であつて、前記ガラス製フロントパネ
ルとリアパネルとの接合が前記ガラス製フロント
パネルの熱膨張係数より16×10−7/℃以上
小さい熱膨張係数を有するガラスフリツトにより
接合された薄型陰極線管。 2 前記ガラスフリツトが、前記ガラス製フロン
トパネルとリアパネルとを非晶質状態で接合して
