Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of a cleaning device so as to cope with the configuration or the like of a casing and improve cleaning efficiency by a method wherein the receiving member of cleaning water is manufactured at the site of work and cleaning water is sprayed against the heat exchanger directly by a worker. CONSTITUTION:The main body 2 of an air-conditioning machine, attached to a ceiling 12, is dismantled at the site of work to remove a lower surface member and a fan from a casing 21. On the other hand, a cleaning water receiver 5, coping with the casing 21, is formed by cutting a light-weight board and the like while a cover 6 is attached to produce the receiving member 4 of cleaning water by attaching a cover 6. Thereafter, the upper end of a cover 6 is attached to a hanging metal 13 by a string or the like to hang the receiving member 4 into a casing 21. Successively, a cleaning water injecting member 7 is inserted into the casing 21 from the opening 53 of a cleaning water receiver 5 and the heat exchanger 22 is cleaned by spraying the cleaning water against the heat exchanger 22 while monitoring it through an opening 53 to wash the heat exchanger 22. Drain is reserved into a cleaning water receiver 5 and is discharged out of a discharging port 54.
