Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the cross section of an elevator shaft by providing a fitting member to fit to a secondary conductor which consists of a non-magnetic material, to an elevating body, and making the secondary conductor function as a guide rail of the elevating body concurrently. CONSTITUTION:By exciting a primary winding 16, a relative thrust is generated between the primary winding 6 and a secondary conductor 15, and a balance weight 13 is moved up and down by this thrust. In this case, since a guide shoe 17 for weight is fitted to the secondary conductor 15, it slides along the secondary conductor 15. As a result, the balance weight 13 is guided by the secondary conductor 15 to be a guide rail concurrently, and moved up and down in an elevator shaft 1. By the up and down movement of the balance weight 13, a cage 3 is moved up and down in the elevator shaft 1. Consequently, the cross section of the elevator shaft 1 can be reduced.

In such a near-motor elevator, the secondary conductor (15) of the LIM also serves as a guide rail for the counterweight (13), so it is not necessary to separately install a kite rail for the counterweight (13). The number of parts is reduced, the overall cost is reduced, and the cross-sectional area of the hoistway (1) is reduced.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the brake (8) is replaced by a counterweight (13).
If the secondary conductor (15) is softer than iron, the effectiveness of the emergency stop brake will be poor, and there is a risk that the brake shoe (not shown) may damage the secondary conductor (15). Therefore, when the present invention is applied to a one-coup type linear motor elevator such as the one shown in "-", it is preferable that the brake (8) be provided on the side of the gasket (3).

Further, although the above embodiment shows a rope-type linear motor elevator, the present invention can also be applied to a conventional rope-less type elevator. In this case, the secondary conductor of L I M may also serve as the chi I rail of the elevator car (3).

[Effects of the Invention] As explained above, in the linear motor elevator of the present invention, the elevating body is provided with an engaging member that engages with the secondary conductor made of a non-magnetic material, and the guide 1 of the elevating body is attached to the secondary conductor. Since it also serves as a rail, the number of parts can be reduced.
This has the effect of reducing the overall cost and reducing the cross-sectional area of the hoistway.
