Claims (1)
静電潜像を形成す感光体に一様な帯電を行う、画
像形成装置におけるコロナ放電器の使用開始時の
放電ムラを防止する装置において、被帯電体に一
様な帯電を行う前にコロナ放電器の放電ワイヤに
所定時間高電圧を印加して放電を行わせる手段を
備え、かつ、前記高電圧印加による放電によつて
被帯電体が帯電しないようにする帯電防止手段を
備えていることを特徴とするコロナ放電器の使用
開始時の放電ムラ防止装置。 (2) 前記コロナ放電器としてスコロトロンを用
い、前記帯電防止手段がスコロトロンのグリツド
の電位を未帯電の感光体の電位に等しくする手段
であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のコロナ放
電器の使用開始時の放電ムラ防止装置。 (3) 前記帯電防止手段が、感光体をコロナ放電
器に対して移動する手段と、感光体の帯電を除電
する手段とからなることを特徴とする請求項1又
は2記載のコロナ放電器の使用開始時の放電ムラ
防止装置。 (4) 放電ワイヤに所定時間印加する前記高電圧
が交流電圧であることを特徴とする請求項1から
3の何れか1項記載のコロナ放電器の使用開始時
の放電ムラ防止装置。 (5) 放電ワイヤを有するスコロトロンを用いて
静電潜像を形成する感光体に一様な帯電を行う、
画像形成装置におけるスコロトロンの使用開始時
の放電ムラを防止する装置において、使用開始時
に放電ワイヤに印加する電圧又は電流の一方又は
双方を通常の画像形成動作中に印加する電圧又は
電流の一方又は双方よりも増加させる手段と、使
用開始時からの画像形成枚数又は画像形成動作時
間を測定する手段と、使用開始時からの画像形成
枚数又は画像形成動作時間が所定の値になつた時
に放電ワイヤに印加する電圧又は電流の一方又は
双方を通常の画像形成動作時の値に下げる手段と
を備えていることを特徴とするコロナ放電器の使
用開始時の放電ムラ防止装置。 (6) 請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載のコロ

て、画像形成装置内の湿度を検出する手段を有し
、検出された湿度が所定値以上の時にのみ前記各
手段を動作させるようにする手段を有することを
