少したトナーを補充するためのトナーカートリツ
ジを挿入するカートリツジ挿入部を、上部に有す
るトナー供給装置に関し、トナーカートリツジ挿
入時に発生する、装置周辺のトナー汚染を解消し
たトナー供給装置に関するものである。

挿入した場合、カートリツジ挿入部内の空気の逃
げ場が無いため、トナーカートリツジ2と、ガイ
ドカートリツジ4及びハウジング5間の隙間か
ら、矢印b方向へ空気が排出され、その空気と共
に多量のトナー3がカートリツジ挿入口1から、
外へ漏れてしまい、カートリツジ挿入口1周辺及
び複写機内がトナーにて汚染されてしまう欠点を
有していた。

リツジ挿入時の外部へのトナー漏れを防止するた
めに、フイルター11にて前記空気排出口10を
被覆して成るものである。尚、フイルター11の
材質としては、例えば耐トナー性を有するエバー
ライトスコツトHR−50(ブリジストンタイヤ株
式会社製フイルター)等が適しており、両面テー
プ等にて、固定する。
