Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a combination of a low cost forged core and a resin bobbin by employing a tubular metal spacer and securing the bobbin to the spacer by winding a field winding. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 4 is made of a tapered tubular iron member. A nylon bobbin 2 is set on the spacer 2 and a field winding 3 is wound thereabout. Consequently, the bobbin 2 and the spacer 4 are secured firmly and they never shift. Furthermore, since the integrated bobbin 2, field winding 3 and spacer 4 are press fitted to the boss of a field core 1, the spacer 4 and the field core 1 are secured firmly with no shift. Consequently, a low cost forged core and a resin bobbin can be combined to provide an economically excellent product. Furthermore, troublesome adhesion process can be eliminated when the field core is assembled.
