発振器からのレーザ光を工作物に照射する導電性
ノズルと、前記工作物と前記ノズルとの間の静電
容量を検出する静電容量検出装置を備え、この静
電容量検出装置から検出された静電容量を基にし
て前記工作物と前記ノズル先端との距離を測定し
、この両者間の距離を一定に保ちながら前記工作
物の加工を行うレーザ加工機において、 前記トーチ本体部に取り付けられた遮蔽用電極
と、前記トーチ本体部と前記遮蔽用電極との間に
介在し、この両者を電気的に絶縁する第1絶縁層
と、前記遮蔽用電極と導通し、前記ノズルの先端
部を残して外周を被覆する金属被膜と、前記ノズ
ルと前記金属被膜との間に介在し、この両者を電
気的に絶縁する第2絶縁層と、前記トーチ本体部
を介して前記工作物と前記ノズルとの間および前
記遮蔽用電極を介して前記工作物と前記金属被膜
との間に電位差を発生させる印加手段とを備えた
