However, according to such conventional technology, if the working fluid remains in the heat pipe after the engine is stopped, there is a risk that the working fluid will freeze at a location other than the evaporator during low outside temperatures such as in winter. Such freezing may make restarting difficult.

In order to achieve this objective, the present invention provides a cooling water passage for circulating cooling water between the engine and the cabin heater, and provides a blower fan that supplies air for heat exchange with the cooling water circulating through the heater core. On the other hand, a loop-type heat pipe is provided in which a working fluid for transmitting the exhaust heat to the air is carried by an evaporator installed in the exhaust passage, and the condensing part of the heat pipe is attached to the air outlet side of the heater core for the vehicle interior. In the heating device, a liquid tank is interposed in a second pipe that carries the working fluid from the condensing section to the evaporator,
The vehicle heating device is characterized in that the liquid tank is surrounded by a heat insulating member.

Stop the engine and turn on the heating system.
When set to OFF, the temperature of the working fluid in the evaporator decreases depending on the outside temperature, but since the liquid tank is protected by a heat insulating material, the temperature of the working fluid in the liquid tank is higher than that of the working fluid in the evaporator. be higher than Therefore, the working fluid returns to the evaporator due to the heat cycle and freezes within the evaporator. When the engine is restarted, the exhaust heat immediately thaws the working fluid in the evaporator, making it possible to restart the system very easily and quickly.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention, in which reference numeral 1 is an engine, 2 is a vehicle interior heater, 3 is a cooling water passage for recirculating cooling water, 4 is a heater core, and 5 is a circulating water through the heater core 4. A blower fan that supplies air for heat exchange with the cooling water; 6 is an exhaust passage of the engine 1;
An evaporator 9 is provided at an eccentric position in the passage between the catalytic converter 7 and the muffler 8, and a door 10 is provided on the upstream side of the evaporator 9, which can be opened and closed to allow or prevent exhaust heat from being exposed to the evaporator 9. . Reference numeral 11 denotes a loop-type heat pipe, which connects the evaporator 9 and the condensing section 14 attached to the air outlet 13 side of the vehicle interior heater core 4.
It consists of a pipe 15 and a second pipe 16 which is a frozen first pipe 15 near the condensing section 14 and the evaporator 9, and inside the second pipe 16 there is a third pipe 17 which is frozen downstream of the condensing section 14. and,
A liquid tank 18 connected downstream of the third pipe 17 and a fourth pipe 21 frozen downstream of the liquid tank 18 and upstream of the first pipe 15.
and a first electromagnetic valve 19 as a valve means disposed between the fourth pipe 21.

By surrounding the liquid tank 18 with a heat insulating member 50 made of felt, cloth with heat wires, etc., even if the temperature of the working fluid 34 in the evaporator 9 drops toward freezing due to the cold air outside after the heating device is stopped, the liquid tank will remain intact. The working fluid 34 in the evaporator 18 is kept warm, and the temperatures of both working fluids 34 are reversed, creating a heat cycle in which steam flows back to the evaporator 9.
0 becomes the working fluid 34. Although this working fluid 34 is frozen by the outside air, it is thawed by the heat of the exhaust gas 52 generated by restarting the engine 1, so that steam 40 is immediately generated and a heat cycle begins. In other words, the heating device can be restarted quickly.

As explained above, according to this idea,
A cooling water passage for circulating cooling water is provided between the engine and the cabin heater, and a blower fan is provided to supply air for heat exchange with the cooling water circulating through the heater core. In a heating device in which a loop-type heat pipe is disposed to carry a working fluid that transfers heat to the air, and a condensing part of the heat pipe is attached to an air outlet side of a heater core for a vehicle interior, the working fluid from the condensing part is disposed. interposing a liquid tank in a second pipe conveying the liquid to the evaporator;
Since the vehicle heating device is characterized in that the liquid tank is surrounded by a heat insulating material, the working fluid always accumulates in the evaporator even when the outside air is relatively low, such as in winter, and the accumulation is prevented. This has the practical effect that the frozen state of water is thawed by the exhaust heat, and the heating starts immediately due to the evaporation of the water.
