Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １枚の用紙の厚さより小さいスポツト径の光を
給紙カセツト上の用紙の側面に対して側面を横切
る方向に移動しながら照射する発光手段と、 前記発光手段により照射された給紙カセツト上
の用紙の側面からの反射光を受光し電気的信号に
変換する受光手段と、 受光手段によつて変換された電気的信号から給
紙カセツト上の各用紙の端面と用紙間の隙間を検
出する検出手段と、 前記検出手段により検出された検出信号から各
用紙の端面をカウントするカウント手段と、 を有する用紙残量検知装置。
