In conventional fuel tank fuel suction devices, the fuel suction port is fixed inside the fuel tank, so there is no problem on slopes or slopes if the fuel tank is full, but if there is little fuel left, There is a risk of danger such as the engine stopping.

This idea was made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to connect a flexible pipe to the main pipe that communicates with the fuel suction pump via a rotatable joint, and to connect the flexible pipe to the main pipe that communicates with the fuel suction pump. An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel suction device for a fuel tank in which a weight is provided and the weight is naturally moved to the lower part of the tank on slopes, etc., so that the fuel can be completely sucked up.

An embodiment of this invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Reference numeral 1 in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a main pipe connected to a fuel suction pump (not shown). The tip of this main pipe 1 is introduced into the interior of the fuel tank 2 attached to the flat part 3 at the front upper part of the fuel tank 2, and the tip of the main pipe
As shown in the figure, it is connected to a flexible pipe 5 via a rotatable joint 4. The joint 4 is rotatably supported by a flared portion 1a formed at the tip of the main pipe 1, and a pipe 6 is fitted into the center of the joint 4 with its tip protruding. The flexible pipe 5 is connected via this pipe 6. A flare portion 5 is formed at the tip of the flexible pipe 5, and a weight 7 is attached to the flare portion 5. This weight 7 is provided with a passage 7a in the center thereof through which fuel passes.

When a vehicle having a fuel tank 2 equipped with a fuel suction device configured as described above on the lower rear surface of the vehicle is stopped on a slope, as shown in FIG. The weight 7, which was located approximately in the center, naturally moves to the side where the fuel F is stored in the lower part of the fuel tank 2, as shown in FIG. At this time, the upper part of the flexible pipe 5 is supported by the flare part 1a of the main pipe 1 fixed to the upper surface of the fuel tank 2 via the rotatable joint 4, so it rotates freely.
The weight 7 can freely move to the lower part due to gravity and suck up the fuel F. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 5, even when the vehicle is traveling uphill or stopped in the middle of an uphill slope, the weight 7 can freely move to a lower position at the rear, so it is indicated by the chain line as in conventional vehicles. This prevents troubles that are likely to occur when the mouthpiece is provided at the position shown.

As explained above, according to this invention, the flexible pipe is connected to the main pipe via a rotatable joint, and the joint is composed of a spherical part and a spherical holding part that rotatably supports the spherical part. Therefore, the flexible pipe follows the movement of the weight due to the action of the joint that freely rotates around the pivot point, and it is possible to avoid the problem of fuel choke, etc., which is thought to occur due to twisting of the pipe itself. Moreover, due to the rotation of the pivot point of the joint, the deformation of the flexible pipe itself can be minimized, resulting in excellent durability.
