の羽毛は、互いに絡み合つて容易に切断すること
ができず、非切断状態の羽毛が投入口の蓋体に挟
まり、投入口が気密を保持して閉塞されず、次工
程での加圧加熱による加水分解処理に際して、加
圧加熱が効率よく行い難く、連続処理が困難であ
ると共に不経済であつた。またその後の減圧乾燥
に際して原料に含まれる70%もの多量の水分を除

加熱することにより、羽毛を加水分解及び乾燥し
て、加圧加熱が効率よく行え、また加水分解処理
後の含水分の脱水に労力を要さず、経済的である
と共に、連続処理が容易に行えるフエザーミール
