Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce user's trouble when setting and writing inhibition (permission) in the floppy disk by providing a slide system write inhibit mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Previously, it must be sealed up a specified part when inhibiting the writing in the floppy disk. Therefore, the user has to stick or strip a seal so as to turn the floppy disk to a writing inhibition state or to a writing permission state. So, the permission or the inhibition of the writing in the floppy disk can be set by the slide type write inhibit mechanism 2 equipped with a recessed-shaped notched part 4 in the edge of a main body 1 of the floppy disk. Thus, the user's trouble can be reduced.
